The Ferry is free which is awesome. You can search the departure times online and they are very accurate, down to the minute. The ferry staff are super nice and always smiling. Takes about 15 minutes to get across

Easily arrive at the latest 5-10 minutes before the sailing and you’ll be able to get on the ferry. It’s a free service funded by the government.

Beautiful country, friendly helpful staff, 15 min crossing. Open all year. Nice way to go to see the south side of Burns lake BC.

Got to the Southbank terminal this morning behind 3 other rvs and a friendly employee was directing traffic because they were expecting a large volume of traffic. Had a brief conversation about fishing in François and Ootsa lakes then proceeded onto the ferry. Great work!

Good service and a new route through the back roads home to Baker Creek right off the ferry. Grew up with a similar Ferry on Haida Gwaii but this is not daylight robbery like BC Ferries! Totally free and part of the road way too here.
