Revera Granite Landing

This year we gathered as a family in the multi purpose room at Granite Landing. It was a great space for a family celebration, we brought in our own food and music and the staff were great at helping it to all run smoothly. Special thanks to Jeff Law.

I know people that live there. $6,000 per month, no hot water (constantly being repaired over several years) and terrible meals. Maybe for $6k you should provide basic life necessities? I was looking into this for my mother but will do my best to go elsewhere.

My dad has been at Granite Landing since the spring of 2019. From the first time we walked through the front doors we have been made to feel welcome. The day my dad moved in we stayed to have dinner with him. The team members all new my dad by name already (I joked that they must have his picture posted in the back so the staff could recognize him and make him feel welcome) it felt like he was part of their family already. We have found the team at Granite Landing to be so caring. I am looking forward to the day when we can all be together again and we can go in for meals (food is amazing) and events. After researching and touring multiple residence in the area, Granite Landing was the top choice because of the professionalism, care, and individualized way with which they approached our family's situation.Many months later, they have not disappointed. The care team at Granite Landing (which includes all staff in the building in my mind including the cleaners, nurses, culinary team, administration, and all others) continues to be caring and conscientious. Remarkable so through the difficulties that a global pandemic has brought upon them.I highly recommend Granite Landing as a safe and caring place for your loved ones to reside.

Moved my mom in mid October. She has settled in and loves the residence. Staff members are very welcoming, having provided regular visits during the first few weeks to ensure that mom is well and settling in. Mom particularly loves the meals. Great place for seniors!

We searched for a place for our parents that was close to us, professional but homey and well maintained with outstanding service. We found that at Granite Landing. The staff are so patient and caring, willing to listen and they truly try to accommodate all needs. They go above and beyond to keep residences engaged with hall bingo, hot chocolate delivery to the rooms, outdoor ice cream trucks and concerts to name just a few. Covid is challenging but all residences are safe so far and the innovation to engage residences and keep in contact is comforting to our family. Highly recommend and keep up the great job, you truly are like a second family to us all.

Over the past four years, my mother has been living at Granite Landing. Even with the language barrier, the staff are very caring towards my mother and they make mom feel comfortable and safe. They are meticulous about adhering to proper hygiene at all times. This was especially evident during the pandemic and I want to express my appreciation towards each and every staff member for their efforts.In November 2020, my mother moved to the Memory Care. The care and passion for creating a safe and welcoming environment is very much maintained like it is in Independent Living.

My mom and dad moved into Memory Care at Granite Landing at the beginning of June 2020. They had been very happy living at Heritage Meadows but due to the decline of my mother’s Alzheimer’s, more care was required. The timing couldn’t have been worse -- COVID had already begun to turn our lives upside down. We had to get mom and dad tested, then they had to go into quarantine and then mom moved into Memory Care and dad was moved to Assisted Living. After that Dad was moved to Memory Care (to be with my mom) so there were so many moving parts.On top of this, we all know how upsetting change is as we get older -- the staff at Granite Landing did everything in their power to accommodate all of these moves and make the transition to a new home as seamless as possible. The entire staff at Granite are kind, compassionate and so very patient (especially through these trying times). I can rest at night knowing my parents are being well looked after 24/7.I would also like to note that we had selected Granite Landing for several reasons: it is a beautiful and well-kept facility; the staff are friendly; the residents are so happy; it offered a wide selection of activities and dining options (Bistro, main dining room, etc.); we had heard great things about the food!Sadly, due to the timing of when we moved our parents (in the middle of a pandemic), they have yet to experience so many of these things. We look forward to a time when my parents can experience all of the wonderful amenities offered at Granite Landing!Jill

My mom feels at home here. The staff got to know her very quickly. They always make sure she is aware of and included in activities as she is very forgetful these days. They call at mealtime to remind her to come down. The dining room staff are very pleasant and accommodating. The home itself is beautiful and she is very proud to live there

We have been in residence at Granite Landing for just over a month and do not regret our choice. Justifiable Covid restraints prevent us from using the many amenities to the fullest extent hence the 4 instead of 5 stars. However there remains a wide choice of activities, food is excellent in choice and amount and of very good quality. Staff are very helpful and seem to go out of their way to be of assistance, even in difficult circumstances.All in all highly recommended.Rose and Kent M.
