Poor Italian Ristorante
I recommend to anybody who appreciates a real taste of Fresh Food!I ordered Veal Marsala. Veal was thin, juicy, it could be easily cut and was seasoned perfectly. Each piece of vegetable was beautiful like work of art! The amount of food was just right to make you want to browse through the menu to try something else :) Thank you for such a tasty dinner!

Poor Italian Ristorante
Our anniversary dinner was spectacular. The flavors, the service, the atmosphere, everything was excellent. LINDA greeted us with a huge smile, her suggestions and customer service is genuine. The chef and her team delighted us with each dish that she allowed us to taste ... we will definitely come back. The taste of their dishes is so deliciously competitive to a Michelin star restaurant that I ever been to.

Poor Italian Ristorante
One of the best Italian restaurants in Vancouver! Service was amazing and the food was to die for. As someone that will order a seafood pasta every where I go I can honestly say this is the best I’ve ever had. Parking is limited but there is plenty of street parking. It has a classic Italian restaurant atmosphere without having the heavy sauce or layer of dust.

Poor Italian Ristorante
I have driven past Poor Italian countless times leaving BC Place but never allowing myself enough time to stop for dinner. Tonight, however, with my mom visiting from out of province we made the effort to book a reservation! General manager John Jr was very welcoming to us on our first visit. The atmosphere was tastefully appointed only outdone by the service and food! Our meals were not only delicious but memorable! My mom said she would dream about the Shrimp starter! I personally had the Gnocchi and thoroughly enjoyed it! The apple pie and gelato were the perfect finish! A fantastic night out!

Poor Italian Ristorante
Great taste! I tried their cheese toast and a couple pasta dishes with my husband. The server was very friendly and he s done awesome job for us. It was a bit pricy for me ($50 per person without drinks) but definitely worth to try!

Absolutely recommended! Food is excellent and our server Johnny is very attentive, so is Robert. We had bruschetta, crispy cheese bread, spaghetti with meatballs, ciopinno, and wild mushroom risotto. All are very delicious. The food was cooked with heart. The setting is elegant but family friendly. My family had a wonderful dinning experience.P.s. My daughter said everyone should come here because the food is so amazing. :)

Went out for family dinner Sunday. Also to celebrate my wife's birthday. Decided to try Poor Italian Ristorante for the first time.Very nice decor and a nice place to bring the family or a date night. Friendly staff and amazing food! Place wasnt busy so we received our orders quickly.We order starters calamari, lightly battered so you can taste the fresh calamari and crispy cheese toast. You get 4 but it was being devoured before I could take pictures. For mains we ordered seafood linguine, lamp chops, pappardelle and lamp, seafood risotto and tortellini with pancetta and peas. All the dishes very very favorable. Couldn't say which was best. Than we had dessert, sorry about bad dessert pictures, it was being devoured too quickly. Desserts were not overly sweet and heavy.Restaurant surprised us by giving a complimentary tiramisu with a candle as a birthday gift for my wife. Great touch and perfect end to a great night.Must try spot if you're craving good Italian food or a good date night destination!

We came here for a family birthday celebration. A few family members have dined here before & recommended the place. We all enjoyed the food. They still have good food. Unfortunately they have limited dining hours – Thursdays to Sundays and only on Fridays are lunch. The place has a nice ambience, great for special occasions that can accommodate a large group. Here are the ratings for the food (5 as the best):Caesar salad starter – 5 - great flavour with the anchoviesBeef Carpaccio – 5 - delish & fresh with a decent portionCrisp Cheese Toast – 3Tagliatelle with Wild Mushrooms – 5 – delishMixed seafood linguine – 4 fresh seafoodWild mushroom risotto – 5 – flavourfulVeal Osso Buco – 4 – slightly on the dry side. Poor Italian Ristorante
A wonderful experience having dinner here with my partner. Every item we got was delicious, fresh and bursting with flavour. Prices are very reasonable and portions are large and filling. Will definitely return!
