Cordonnier au Talon d'Or
For $10 they repaired a nick in the leather on the back heel of a pair of $200 boots. I bought them at the thrift store down the street for $10. So for $20 the shoes have a second life. I do not understand why the original owner did not repair the shoes, but I am glad I have them and that they did such a great job fixing them.I will bring all my shoes there from now on.

This shop ruined a pair of clarks desert boots I brought in for cleaning and oiling. They were returned shellacked in dark brown shoe polish that ruined the natural leather look of the shoes.Outsoles weren't even clean from the light dirt they were dropped off with.There was no accountability for the poor service when I stated this was not what we discussed.

Takes the time to do Good Work on Shoes, pants and other things!! Corrected Manufacturers defect Kevlar(a polyaramid fibre)laces will easily cut through any fabric has to have secondary steel eye to last on 200$plus shoes( Red pair) correct design grey ones correct from factory(early design good(2 steel eye lets)later shoe(one factory eyelet)Bad red pair). Red pair only one steel eyelet8
