Rider Express Bus Depot

We had a trip booked from Calgary to Vancouver but was cancelled due to an avalache. We are touring from Australia and have been stranded here for 2 days. We understand that situations change due to unforeseen circumstances. This company has offered us vouchers to use at a later date. After this terrible experience, on top of having the airline losing my luggage, we will not be back. This company REFUSES to refund!!!!!! Legal stealing. Thanks for your non empathy and non understanding of our situation.

Great price and I'm glad there's finally a reliable bus service in canada. I had no problems on my trip from Calgary. The only thing I can complain about is that there was no toilet paper. Other than that, it was a pleasant ride, not too full.

On Dec. 29, 2022, the express route leaving Saskatoon to Edmonton was delayed in order to accommodate rider coming north from Regina, who had experienced a break down. This resulted in 2 subsequent delays and an unannounced trip to Davidson, Saskatchewan to pick up the Regina passengers. The whole trip to Edmonton ended up taking 11 hours, with a very packed bus. It was very uncomfortable, with only one stop to get out and walk. The situation would have been better solved if Rider Express had rolled out a spare bus, and drive, and sent them south to Davidson. Relays should only happen for weather and break downs on the bus in question, or medical emergencies on the bus. None of these where the case for the bus leaving from Saskatoon to Edmonton. Spare buses and drivers should be available on call as need arises. Poorly handled Rider Express. You also costed 2 passengers valuable work by not leaving on time that day, at 8:30 am.

Today our rider express driver was on time to. Edmonton and he was very professional and kind, for the lady who said she was 4 mins late for the bus and the bus left her, no actually u r 24 mins late cause you are supposed to come 20 mins early for your check in and for luggage storages.

Bus driver was very rude and unprofessional. Accused us of stealing his wallet and stopped the bus until he made calls and found it. Was 2 hours late for pick up at Revelstoke. Shell (pick up location) wasn't even open. Super 8 staff was nice to let us in at 1 am in a cold and snowy day. No correspondence, no email. No apologies. Riders express phones are never picked up. I have tried several times. Seats are very tight with no leg room. Very disorganized and unprofessional service. Would rather carpool or drive next time.Also the google time schedule is off. It said it's open till 6pm but at the door it said 4:30.

So hard to find. Online maps had no idea where the entrance was.No signage. At all. I waited in the rain outside of a closed and opaque door which seemed locked. It was miserable. There were two others outside just as uncomfortable.Turns out the door was Unlocked... With no signage. No directions. No door open. No explanations. Nothing.It was embarrassing, and awkward.All that was needed was info on the door.Once inside it was easy to get checked in. One large room with everyone facing inwards.Bus came on time.

The bus was on time and clean, the seats were reasonably comfortable and there are washrooms on board, as well as charging ports. Being the lowest cost Edmonton - Calgary bus, it surprised me how much better than some of the other bus companies Rider Express is.

I used Rider Express for the first time on April 14, 2023 to go from Calgary to Edmonton. Excellent experience. The bus was clean, the driver was professional, great trip, very good value.

Very Good experience with Rider Express travelling from Revelstoke to Calgary. Bus was, modern, c/w wifi, very clean, comfortable and quiet. Driver kept passengers up to date given that winter driving conditions were very poor and maintaining the schedule would be impossible. The highway had been closed for 5.5 hrs due to snow avalanche that day and Roger's pass was bumper to bumper with delayed trucks. Driver Ron was exceptional during the entire trip keeping us feeling safe and informed. I will travel with Rider Express again in the future.
