First time ordering in 1.5 years and it's not the same. There wasn't much taste to anything. Ginger Beef was supposed to be spicy, but there was no spice.My chicken fried rice looked like white rice with a little bit of chicken thrown in.The man on the phone who took my order however was very nice and timing was spot on.

Their food is good. They have fish, pork soup and wonton, beef, chicken, vegetable roll, fried Rice, noodles, steamed rice, mixed boiled vegetables, fruits and some jelly. Price for lunch buffet is 16.50. Service is good, price is reasonable. They can add something in the desert section.

I went to the Imperial for the first time, given that I was a visitor from Calgary. My friends and I enjoyed the buffet and cold beers. There was lots of variety at the buffet. The servers were helpful and very friendly. While the decor is very simple, it was well lit and very clean. Thank you for the lovely experience.

This is one of our favorite take out chinese food places in lethbridge. The food is great and the portions generous. We always pick up the food ourselves so we do feel a bit awkward not tipping when the card machine asks how much do we want to tip. We pay 15-20 percent when we dine in but not when we pick up. Except for that we love the place.

Went to Imperial China on April 23rd with 2 friends for buffet dinner.The food was terrible!Cold. Old. Dry.My friends and I barely ate anything. I’m not usually one to complain but I decided to say something to the staff.I stated that we had barely eaten anything and we were unhappy with the food.The lady said “ok, just leave then.”Then as she walked away she said “and don’t ever come back!”I think this was extremely rude. There was no need for this comment.Did not need the staff to tell me not to come back as I will never be going back.0/10 recommend.

Thank you so much for the excellent meal and service on Dec 24. Ordered alot for 5pm and it came straight from the kitchen. When it got home it was still piping hot and delicious. Fantastic service. Wonderful meal.

Today I got a takeout buffet from imperial china then went straight to Mimi’s and got one there as well. Side by side I’d say minis had much more flavour in the ginger beef and a better selection for cheaper. In defence of imperial they have really good fried catfish and the fried shrimp has very little batter. But I’m comparison the container at Mimi’s is bigger, the selection is better and price is cheaper by around 15%. They are both good but I’d say my moneys on the new Mimi’s . Love all of ya sorry bout the 3 stars and have a great life.

We had a lunch at Imperial China Restaurant, Lethbridge yesterday. Imperial China is located on 4 Ave South, which is right beside the Lethbridge Casino. It is a brand new Chinese Restaurant, which has very great local reviews. It offers the lunch buffet, which is around $14 per person. We arrived the restaurant around 11 am (right before the lunch time). It was not busy yet. The restaurant is not big, but it’s very clean. We found a seat fast and began our lunch. The food was well cooked, but it was not very fresh. The taste was decent. Not Very excited. Servers were very nice and friendly. They served drinks and clean up the table fast.

This is a great Chinese food buffet location in Lethbridge.My only complaint is that those who sat to eat their meals had to wait for those who came in and grabbed 3-4 tin plates to eat AT home, not at restaurant.Sorry completely wrong for locals to do this.This restaurant is catering to in house customers.I truly feel for this restaurant as they should not have to cater to those who do not sit to eat.My suggestion for those who fill countless plates they should be charged dbl buffet cost.Just saying, great family run business and I'd be back again...if there is anything left over.
