What can I say. From humble beginnings 10 years ago to now being scattered" throughout the Kootenays and lower OK Valley. The artistry is so beautiful and varied in Castlegar's Sculpturewalk. It is really difficult to choose a favourite. Check their website - well worth a visit and don't forget to stop and have a coffee in town."

Castlegar Sculpturewalk
This is one of the coolest things to do in Castlegar! I have come to town to see this for the last 3 years. They curate an amazing variety of sculptures throughout the town and do a great job of creating a walkable map that allows you to do a self guided tour of the town and the sculptures.

The walk itself was easy. The sculptures were amazing and the themes very well thought out. Great artistry and lots of talent. Too bad they are showcased in such a dismal town off the beaten path.

Castlegar Sculpturewalk
Tonight was the Night of Fire at Millenium Park. They announced the winners of the sculpture walk and a fabulous cedar two-headed dragon was on display and then lit on fire for all to enjoy. The live band was very good. Thank you Sculpture Walk and City of Castlegar!
