Very good price and decent portion.FOOD:• Takoyaki: 5 pieces for only $5.99, best pricing ever and as tasty as any other places.• Pork Katsu: a bit smaller than I thought, but crispy and I really love the creamy sauce comes with it.• Oyster Fry: I'm surprised with the size of the oysters.DRINKS: quite some options of beers, cocktails, sake, etc.VIBE: very japanese izakaya vibe, they have some large TV playing sport games whole time, it'll be perfect for drinking and binging sports with friends.• SERVICE: they being a bit cold to us but other than that nothing to complain.

My bf and I had always passed by this restaurant and wanted to try it. So I decided to come here and give it a try for the first time when we were in the area.We were promptly greeted and seated. Looked at the menu and decided we both wanted bento boxes, as because it was highly recommended by local reviews.I ended up getting the hamburger steak and my bf got the beef teriyaki bento. On the side we ordered the grilled octopus.To start off my hamburger steak bento was such a disappointment. There was two tiny small beef balls which didn't taste good and the rest of the bento was mainly RICE and three pieces of kaarage and small tiny salad and pasta salad.My boyfriend was a little better. His beef teriyaki was flavourful, but again, it was mainly rice as you can see from the pictures.Octopus was alright, but super tiny and definitely not worth $22.Overall, it was a disappointing food experience.

Incredible Izakaya food and the flavors were exceptional.The highlight of the meal was definitely the nabe soup. It was rich, flavorful, and filled with beef and vegetables. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy. Highly recommended for an authentic Japanese dining experience!

I ordered sukiyaki.It was not a sukiyaki.There was no noodles and found two literal two dried ahh noodle out of my soup.I used to make sukiyakis in a restaurant. I know how it generally looks and taste. I don't give one star unless I had an argument or a very bad experience.They totally missed one of the main ingredients. And possibly reused the ingredients. That starch noodle (clear) doesn't get tangled unless they get dried after boiling they never get soggy.I called and asked something is wrong. The server was trying to convince me the noodle is there. There wasn't any. They refused to get me the right food.I ordered a side, and they say they cannot serve another unless I pay the wrong order.I told them to call the cops.He came back and now he wants the side now.Man, what is that.

Very cozy, nice ambiance, food is good, we ordered Hamburg steak (two different dishes) it was covered with way too much sauce. Other than that good experience and customer service. Croquettes are really good

I enjoyed their bento box with mackerel. The karaage that came with the bento were juicy and delicious. The restaurant has cute booths that offer plenty of privacy. It's a cozy place for a date. Their prices were quite reasonable. They also have a nice variety of Japanese snacks for you to bring home.

A cute, authentic, Japanese soul food restuarant. There's also izakaya tapas. We tried the new Highball lemon and earl grey drink. Really liked the earl grey one. Also got the chicken katsu curry and salmon teriyaki bento. On Ubereats you can get BOGO free chicken karaage for $10 bucks (best ones in the GTA imo) because it has the simple Japanese homemade taste and are big juicy pieces. One of my fave places to get Japanese food.We dropped a chopstick and server came right away to give us a new pair :)

Cool dimly lit Japanese centric food place - very good food, amazing prices for the portions on the bento box, nowadays it’s hard to find a bento box less than 20 dollars so I m very impressed. The black sesame cheese cake was super delicious and very original. I felt very comfortable and the servers were very nice and friendly. Would definitely come back.
