R L Fletcher Bicycle Repair

I have taken my bicycle there many times and had repairs done. The prices are better than any other bike shop in the city. The customer service is better than expected, it's always a pleasure to talk with Robert. I have sent many friends there to get parts, or have work done on their bicycles, and never a complaint.

Found Mr Fletcher's bike repair last spring when purchasing a new bike requiring assembly, and most recently, when I screwed up my axle with my own poor repair skills. Great service, well priced and fast! I won't go anywhere else in Kingston!

JJ cycle refused to even look at my E-bike but one call to R L Fletcher and he told me to bring it in. After taking one look at my E-bike he said he was able to do a front and rear tyre swap no problem. Service was amazing, knowledgeable with E-bikes, pricing was great and very fair. Excellent to deal with, this will be the only shop I support in town going forward!

Took my bike with a flat tire here late Tuesday afternoon and got it back fixed the next morning. The tube had punctured from the inside which I didn't know. The owner was very friendly and knew his stuff really well. The price was reasonable for me as a student. I'll definitely go here again if anything happens to my bike.

Took my 'old faithful' (K&P Trail bike) to JJ Cycle for some brake work and a tune up and was IMMEDIATELY told they DID NOT work on 'department store' bikes and was told it probably wasn't worth it to fix so I left discouraged. Fortunately for me, they DID suggest I try Fletcher's Bicycle Repair - Fletcher's is the ONLY shop I will go to moving forward. As long as he's in business, I will recommend this shop to everyone I can! As soon as he looked at the bike he told me no problem!" Brought my old Giant bike there (a heavy hybrid), and while dropping it off ended up with a new bike as well (lighter road bike)! Robert was friendly and patient and easy to deal with. There was no sense of a high-pressure sale at all. Super happy with my new bike, and I look forward to picking up my old bike fixed up!

I have a pedal assist bike which required a rear tire tube replacement. Another bike repair shop was not willing to attempt the repair so i brought the bike here. He was confident and familiar with the disconnect cable location and replaced the rear tire and it was ready for pick up the next day. Reasonable rates. He has plenty of in stock bike parts in store.Methods of payments include etransfer, cash or cheque. There is no debit or credit machine here.
