Back Country Butchering
Best Butcher shop in Southern Alberta possibly the world! A must stop! The steak, hamburger patties and smokies are not just the tip of the must haves. Anything pepperoni including the pickled pepperoni and beef jerky soo good. The location is also great there is a nice little park right across the street. Did I mention a great place to stop for lunch, they always have something delicious cooking.

Love this shop. Great service, friendly people and wonderful variety of meats and sauces. The fresh ribs in the slow cooker and the soups are fantastic.

just had the ribeye steak that i pick up today ,,,,oh my now that was some good beef, still have to try the 6oz hamburgers but i think that there gooding to be great as well, definitely stopping here every time we come though

5 stars. They have so much variety in their freezers at prices that are better than your grocery story AND it’s all sealed in airtight packages, they’ve done the work for you. Amanda gives great service and they are just very fair. I no longer shop at my supermarket for meat at all!

I've eaten a lot of barbecue in my life and have lived across Canada for a number of years. This might be one of the best butchers I've ever been to. Amanda was absolutely amazing greeting me and telling me about all the products. I must have just eaten the top three best ribs of my entire life in a matter of 3 minutes.Went to the local butcher and Pincher Creek and it was absolutely disgusting meat, over a week old and extremely salty...I'll be back next week for some Tomahawk steaks. Customer for life!Keep up the stellar work Tim and Amanda!

Love this place! I stop Everytime I drive by, have never been disappointed. Best ribs I had in years, friendly staff, good selection of meat products and other items! I make dedicated trips to Back Country for their amazing products!Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing meat, cuts, ground meat, and ribs of all sorts as well as chicken!! They also have bacon! We love this place! And the sales are crazy awesome!!
