Fish Creek Bottle Depot

What an awesome bottle depot!We went into this location with quite a few bags of bottles, thinking it would take all morning blah, Mondays, am I right? Well boy wells I wrong, they had automatic sorting and counting machines. It was so quick and efficient and with the machines it makes me feel like I am getting the correct amount of money back.

This is my favourite bottle depot! Staff are always friendly and they get you out super fast!Very clean and modern inside!Thank you!

WOW!! What an amazing system!! The whole place is AUTOMATED, so with minimal hand sorting, (just the milk jugs, etc) ALL the cans, bottles, glass, etc., gets swept into the hopper, up the conveyor, and it sorts everything!! EVEN, if the cans are crushed! SO FAST & efficient!!

I went here yesterday and it will be the last time that I'm ever here. I brought in 6 bags of bottles and got about half of what I usually get when I bring them in. It's a shame because I like the location and have been going there for the last 6 years, but their new automated system ensures I do not come back.

Few things I like about the depot its clean, well kempt, less stinky then others. Automated process for prompt turn around, they just do hand sorting for milk jugs etc. I have visited this place many times and there is no line up. You bring your stuff in a garbage bag, dump it on the table, the cashier does the hand sorting and machine does its thing you get the receipt scan at the money despenser pick up cash and done. I saw reviews about poor customer service, the environment is quite loud and I dont expect them to speak or take their ear plugs off, I got a smile every time and thats enough. I would suggest bring your ear plugs as it can be quite loud for obvious reasons. Over all highly recommended. Follow for more.

Yup they got me too........the screen resets half way through and they took half of my bottle take....i go there with 5 bags full each time its in the 40 dollar range...plus or minus.......never going back there..i will throw the bottles in the garbage before i ever go back there...look at other recent reviews.......taking whats not theirs to take....then you you got to beg for your money cause theres an excuse.....its about customer service....none here.Your automated stealing machine works perfect...beware honest taxpayers...dont go…anyone posting a good review here is being dishonest the place out right steals from you…not the Canadian way..do not support this place

The new automated counter appears to miss about half the bottles. I used to come here all the time and took in 8 huge bags. I definitely would not recommend this location anymore.

Agree with some comments regarding bringing many bags and getting less than expected. I guess, it may also depend on who is counting at the counter.

Got shorted pretty blatantly but the flat was gone before I could protest. 24 bottles but clerk only punched in 14, and another flat of 16 bottles was punched in as 12. Pretty shady business practices at this place, won't be going back.
