Total Pet

Belongs to the Bosley family if you like or not that company. We found very good priced items for pet that at other places are twice as much. It is conveniently located with ample parking. Staff was awesome and very helpful. I will definitively go there again

Great place to find all the things for your pet, friendly staff!

I was looking for fish tank accessories so when I approached this Total Pet, about 5:55 pm. I looked at the door where the store hours were posted and it says 9:00. I entered, no greeting from the clerk as they were not around. The female working approached me a moment later and asked me if I needed assistance. I told her I was ok. They did not have much of a selection, mostly items for Bettas. I wondered through the dog section looking for a deal on treats.I was there for a moment or so looking at the formulas when I was about to grab a few items, a male who works there came out from the back of the store to tell me it was past closing time. He looked quite urgent to have me leave instead of selling me the items. I left them . I thought closing was 9:00, not 6:00 as stated upon the door. I was not told upon entering the store, it was near closing. Not good customer service! I haven't had much luck with customer service there in a few years, actually. I will not be spending a dime there or the north shore location ever again. I was unable to pick a zero stars rating, unfortunately.

I always get great customer service when I shop at Total Pet. The staff is really helpful when I can't quite decide on something. They're also super sweet with my cat whenever I bring him in.

Have been going to this store for a long time and the staff has always been super knowledgeable and helpful. New staff now, which I understand will cause some hiccups, but no one (including managers) could provide me any advice on wet dog food after I explained my dogs’ requirements. I then had to search it out myself and she came after and said yes she would have suggested the kind I chose. Would’ve been more helpful had you actually done that…. The stock is in the wrong places, so I had to return a bag of dry dog food after realizing it was not the right price as marked. The staff members were not in any way helpful here. This is the opposite of all of my past experiences here, so I’m sad to see the old staff go. The manager did not even know there was a discount for purchasing cases of canned food. Would NOT recommend this location anymore. At least until they train their staff properly.

I hadn't been in this store in some time, and was happy to see it's been completely reorganized and streamlined inside! There was tons of product selection for dogs (including refrigerated raw food), cats, small animals, and fish, and the staff were eager to answer my questions. It's under new management as of a few months ago, so if you haven't been there in awhile, check it out again as I was pleasantly surprised!

Very friendly staff who chatted with me for a bit and offered a lot of good advice for fish and supplies. The new bettas they got in look happy and healthy and they have a clean selection of aquatic plants to choose from. I will definitely check back.
