had a pleasant time visiting this place - friendly service despite how busy they are, staff will provide the service when requested and will stop whatever they're doing to show where things are (ive been to other home depot and they usually annoyingly just point things out which confuses me even more **personal experience could be different for others obviously**

Very disappointed,Yesterday I went to this home depot to buy Microwave and Hood, when checking out no one was there to help, 3 staff were busy selling donuts and I'was standing there waiting for someone. ( check your camera).When finally someone came I mentioned that you guys have price match.The same Microwave in the brick was $199 but they are selling it $225.The staff told me we can't because the system doesn't allow her????So why advertise for price match guarantee????You lost a sell of almost $600.I will never go there.

This place used to be my go-to for EVERYTHING around the house.After the fire last year it was closed for a long while and now it is a total mess. Aisles are cluttered, shelves are disorganized, nothing seems to be where it belongs. Not to mention skyrocketing prices.After posting my review the store manager responded inviting me to discuss my concerns outside of the public eye but I'd rather keep things open so I am adding some photos.

One of the best locations in Surrey which is our go-to for everything we need. Friendly staff, who are always first to approach us asking if we need assistance. Received help from Jas and Carrie, both amazing at their job who go above and beyond for their customers. Currently had an issue with a vanity we ordered and they took care of the situation immediately! Always appreciate the hard work from everyone there, definitely recommend this location!

A dude named Islam helped me find exactly what I needed. 5 stars for him. -1 star because the product placement made absolutely no sense. I was looking for a specific privacy screen, so naturally I looked down the decking aisle. They had a different brand of privacy screens there, but the one I was looking for was nowhere to be seen. So I looked around the store and still couldn’t find it. Finally caved and asked for help. Apparently it’s in the very back corner of the warehouse… two almost identical products (barrette vs. peak brand)…. Why not keep them in the same place…. Very dumb. Anyway. Thanks for the help, Islam!

Decent place with lots of variety. I entered and asked for where a specific item was, I was directed to the opposite side of where it actually was. Didn’t start off on the best foot.But there was no line on the checkout and there was lots of parking. So I had a neutral experience overall. I would recommend for a quick shopping spree, but find your items on the site before coming.

Almost all the plants in the garden center were dead from lack of water. I cannot believe you let 100s of thousand dollars worth of stock die from lack of water!! This used to be such a nice garden center. On the plus side, staff are friendly

I bought the Moen Darcy double hooks in Burnaby store. I was about to mount it only to see a metal plate was missing. Without it, I was unable to mount the hook on the wall. I went back to Burnaby store, but this model was discontinued and permanently out of stock . The staff checked their system and said Surrey might have it. But computer sometimes didn't match the physical inventory. Therefore I went to Surrey store (near Scott Road) on Thursday, and the computer showed there were 3 in store. A staff named Saksham was very good and helpful. He kept checking the inventory for me, called Port Coquitlam store to hold the product for me. Unfortunately, Poco store could only hold half day for me, which was impossible for me during that day. My last hope was to call Moen and have them sent the missing part. An hour later, I got a call from Saksham from Surrey store, telling me the good news and would hold it for me till weekend. I was so glad and thankful. He could have completely left this behind because he has done his job. But he kept looking for the product for me after I left and called me back! It is a small effort to him but means a lot to me! Staff like Saksham in Home Depot should be highly valued and nicely treated by the company. Corporates always ask applicants what they can bring to the company, this is what a good staff can bring to corporates. Thank you Saksham , you will shine in your career.

I was there today to get a copy of my key. It was fast and easy. Also, the person who helped me to check out was extremely nice and always smiling. She was great! Her name was Harleen. Thank you Harleen :)
