Our family put beautiful fake flowers on their brothers grave site. The cemetery took it upon themselves to throw out our flowers instead of calling us and saying please come get them. This was so inconsiderate of them. And they said basically too bad. You signed the agreement...you should of known. Who diea that...we are so mad

Many of my family, the Checkley's are at rest in this cemetery. English/Welsh immigrates who settled in Port Arthur to raise their four children. Three of them are buried there. Thanks for the services to the staff who were kind to me over the phone. Reg's daughter, Gail.

great place for a walk (no dogs allowed). you`ll see deer grazing in the later day/evening. visit some dead relatives, have a time, eh.

I love to be in the graveyard, it's my peaceful place. Riverside is my favorite..I am in there quite often, and while Iam there I will pick up garbage, pick up candles and other ornaments that may have fallen down.I would LOVE to clean headstones and give them some TLC! But for now I will carry on with Find a Grave.

The person on the phone was wonderfully helpful when I called. I've been looking for my grandmother's grave, and they not only gave me the location, but email me all the information and a map as well! Super, super helpful.

The superintendent was very helpful and quick to respond when we emailed requesting information regarding the location of our relatives graves.
