Gotta love Markdale Dollarama! Always has great selection of items

It seems I always have to pick up a couple of odds and ends, and I find it easy to do here. I find that I come in for one thing and leave with 6 or 7. Good selection of things you might need.

Store is great but needs better management. The front counter staff was very distracted and over charged me for 2 items. It's only $4.50 but no excuse.

It's a dollar store. Lots of things you do and don't need. They always have seasonal stock changing over so good place to check out before the season starts as the items go fast. Lots of craft ideas and last minute things you forgotten to pack on a camping trip.

Staff is quiet, but attentive. Lots of items throughout the store with a huge selection to choose from. Clean environment. Quiet shopping place usually.I recently watched an elderly lady slip and fall outside on the north side of the ramp walking up to the main door of this dollar store, it was incredible to watch how many community members jumped in to assist, as well as an employee who came out to make sure all was okay and to assess the conditions of the ramp to ensure proper measures were taken to limit the chances of another slip and fall and I think it was amazing for the staff to be concerned and not turn a blind eye. This is a great store to have in out community for low income families as well amd allows other ma amd pa shops a chance to restock some of their items for a cheaper price then commuting to get it from other towns.

Very spacious and clean. Lots of selections! I did not give a 5 star because at the time of visit, I did not find that the cashier lady who opened the store showed me the same courtesy that she showed another person that came in the same time as me. Noticed it coming and leaving. Not sure if she's prejudice or just downright racist.

Typical dollar store items. Some items are very well priced compared to the Foodland down the road, while others are jacked up. It's best to do some research on good items to buy at Dollarama before going. To avoid purchasing items that appear cheap, but really can be cheaper elsewhere. A welcome addition to our small community.

very clean employees were fast when the line began to grow however it did take time for them to bring more than one cashier to the check out. as someone working in retail I know it's hard to move lines fast, but don't wait 10 minutes before calling in a second cashier when you see that the line is getting long that's when you call for help not when you feel like it
