Allan is AMAZING!! I've been to many different therapists in the last 20+ years, and Allan is by far one of the best. It is obvious he really knows his stuff, plus he always does his best to fit me in for an appointment even if I call last minute. I appreciate knowing Allan will work very hard every appointment to break up all the knots and tension in my body, and that I will leave the clinic feeling much better than when I walked in.

I twisted my right leg and started feel pain in the knee. I tried different sport creams, physio, yoga... Sometimes I feel better but pain never gone. The only place in town where you get your muscle and/or tendon strains cured.I have been a client of Dr.Elizarov for the past 13 years, as an avid gym goer I do get muscle injuries from time to time. When i first got my shoulder injury I saw various muscle gurus at UBC and you name it and the only doctor who immediately spotted and got it it fixed again is Dr.Elizarov at Richmond Muscle & Tendon Clinic. Today again after 5 years of enjoying a healthy no pain life I am back here and again Dr.Nikolay saves me from needle sharp pain in my upper biceps,I am back to the clinic. Dr. Dilyana has been trained by the late Dr. Elizarov. She knows her job well. I will be visiting this clinic regularly with all muscle related needs,I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who suffers from any muscle, back pain discomfort. Hands down we are lucky to have this clinic in town!

I had few massage therapy years ago but never went back since i didn't feel any difference or progress at all. I have tension in my shoulders, upper and lower back for a long time due to the nature of my job so I decided to give massage another try. Allan Liu is an excellent and a very professional RMT. He is skilled & intuitive on how much pressure to apply, which area needs more work and when to stop. I now go for my massage to maintain my relaxed, pain & tense free muscles. I am so happy with the result and would recommend him 100%.

Been working with Dr. Dilyana for around a month to great success, been to several other physios/clinics and this is the first time my back/nerve pain has felt gone/drastically improved. Dr. Yelizarov is fantastic. He is very professional, knowledgeable and accurate in identifying patient problem and locating precisely right area to apply treatment. It makes his EIMS acupuncture treatment super efficient. My husband was suffering from the low back muscle problem for the six months , it was so bad that he even cannot sit down at all. We tried all kind of physiotherapy and it didn't work. My friend suggested to see Dr. Yelizarov. I am an athlete who has been struggling with various numbness, tingling, weakness and pain in my arm and shoulder for the last few years. I have seen numerous professionals both within and outside of conventional medicine, and though a couple seem to have helped me (in particular, one chiropractor diagnosed a trapped radial nerve in my shoulder and treated me with some relief), none have been able to fully solve my problem.A couple months ago a friend told me about Mr. Yelizarov, and how he uses acupuncture needles to electrically stimulate muscles in a treatment he calls Electrical Intramuscular Stimulation. This seemed like an interesting idea, so I decided to book an initial consultation.I have been visiting Mr. Yelizarov for EIMS treatment once or twice a week for the last couple months, and my condition has improved considerably. He listens carefully to what I tell him about my symptoms and thinks carefully about how to proceed with treatment.I give his clinic four stars, because overall, I am happy with his work and he has helped me noticeably. If and when I return to full health, I will be happy to give him a thoroughly deserved five stars.

I experienced a series of acute athletic as well as some work related, occupational injuries, the latter mostly being chronic and due to the lack of ergonomics. Upon a recommendation, and after having tried some other treatments that sadly failed, I scheduled a visit to the Richmond Muscle and Tendon Clinic run by Dr. Nikolay Yelizarov. It proved to be a worthwhile decision. The treatment was effective and sustained. The acute pain resolved completely after the second visit (some spots actually eased significantly just after one treatment session!) and after the six sessions (one session per week) my chronic pain issues disappeared. One of the advantages of Dr. Yelizarov’s treatment was the educative advice I got from him on how to prevent the injuries from re-occurring through modification of my routine activities. He was always professional and objective in his approach and spent time to dig into the root causes of the issues, so as to make my treatment focused and immediate.Dr. Yelizarov definitely has a wealth of both fundamental and practical knowledge in medicine and physiology. He explained logically, intelligently and clearly the many health matters that were puzzling to me before my attending the Richmond Muscle and Tendon Clinic. The treatment itself was painless and the place was clean and properly maintained. Very accommodating scheduling, too. I highly recommend.
