4.5/5My family and I camped for four nights and were very impressed with the level of service and overall quality of our experience.Firstly, I'd like to commend your front office staff for their friendly and helpful service. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and were always available to answer any questions we had throughout our stay.I also want to highlight your maintenance staff, who did an excellent job of keeping the campground clean and well-maintained. In particular, I'd like to give a shout-out to a very friendly staff member named Willy, who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He was always willing to share his knowledge about Prince Rupert and made us feel at home. The daily rate was reasonable, at around $50, and we appreciated that the fee included a shower. It was also great to have a separate laundry facility on site, which we found to be reasonably priced at $3 per load. The lots were clean and well-maintained, with nicely cut grass, and we were impressed with the respectful behavior of all the campers. We didn't experience any noise or disturbances during our stay, except for some occasional siren and alarm sounds coming from the nearby port or construction sites.Overall, we found the service and quality at your RV campground to be fair, which is exactly what we expected from a campground of this type. However, we did notice some room for improvement in the cleanliness of the washrooms. While they were not too bad, we were not entirely sure if they were being cleaned every day.Thank you for providing a wonderful camping experience in Prince Rupert. We will definitely recommend your RV campground to others and look forward to visiting again in the future.

The campground site was generally nice, raised platforms for the tent are a good idea because of how often it rains in Prince Rupert. Main tenting area has a large covered structure that gives some repreieve to wet weather. However the main tenting area is situated right by a swamp, and it doesn't look like the bathrooms were cleaned once during our 3 day stay, only saw campground attendants once during that time as well.

A little unusual being back to back with someone. Very nice little oasis close to downtown. Friendly accommodating staff, will stay again next time I'm in Prince Rupert.

Best thing about the place is that it's close to the ferry. Very nice person collecting the money, but.....serves the purpose, and that's all. Rundown: picnic tables, platforms and buildings all need painting. Tent sites are at the bottom of the hill on the property, therefore wet and muddy. No privacy between sites. But... don't park on the grass. Depressing place to stay.

Worst customer service I’ve had ever experienced, terrible phone manners. Guess that what you get when you know you’re the only place in town. Would rather stay in a Walmart parking lot

Probably the worst campsite in a 5 week cross Canada trip. Gravel campsite not wide enough for a picnic table or any place to put our own chairs. Other campers blaring their music. Would not recommend.

The campground was fine. We were in the lowest loop which put us near the creek which you cannot see because of the trees and thick underbrush. It was an lovely view of a row of trees. At the end of the row of sites was a train into the forest. The trail followed the creek to a pond, and there were several trails branching off which we did not explore. The trails were beautiful and in excellent shape. The camp sites were typical widths. Each pull through can hold two RV’s I think. We were travelling with friends who have a camper van, and they shared our pull through. We have a fifth wheel. It didn’t feel like we had separate sites but rather like we were sharing the space because to fit we were just three feet apart. We were travelling together, so it was fine. I don’t know whether they’d book strangers in those double pull throughs. It would be uncomfortably close with someone we didn’t know.About half the RVs appeared to be long-term renters/guests, and several didn’t seem to have anyone staying in them while we were there.

Quite convenient for late ferry arrivals. Bathroom access code did not work, no staff available to help and no response to phone or email messages to get access. No toilet paper in the washroom. Facilities are old and tired and do not look to be improving. Free shower was excellent.

From the reviews our expectations were very low, but this being the only campsite in town we had no choice. We were pleasantly surprised how great this place was. The campsite was well taken care off, the showers were clean and the water was hot every time we went. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. There is a few sites that are on the smaller size, but If you are worried about that call ahead and get a site on the bottom two rows. Plenty of room there.
