Mini-Skool 'A Child's Place' Inc.

The staff at Mini-Skool are professional and do an excellent job caring for the children. My experience has been with the toddler room, where the teachers are very experienced and dedicated to their work. I don't think they would be in this job if it wasn't out of passion and care for the children. The facility is clean. Foodservice is amazing in terms of keeping food fresh and safe. The rooms are spacious and the play area is exceptional. I visited Waldorf prior to this and the toddler playground there wasn't half the size in Mini-Skool. I highly recommend this daycare!

Amazing place for your kids. Don’t choose anywhere else in Richmond Hill!

My wife and I have 3 children who are part of this Mini-Skool and couldn’t be happier. Years ago we made a change from another facility and it was a fantastic decision. From the leadership (Chis, Sheila and Sabrina) on down to the staff, they all exemplify what you want in a daycare. The Mini-Skool team cares about your children's well being and development. The food from Chef Jonny is top notch and best of all when our oldest was ready to start JK, she was ready thanks in large part to the work she did with her teachers (care takers). If you're looking for care for your children, look no further.

Mini Skool Richmond Hill is a fantastic daycare! My daughter has been going here for 3 years (started as an infant) and currently in a pre-school class. All of her teachers have been very attentive, caring and kind. The support staff are also very friendly, and ready to help/answer any questions. The building is set up like a little school, classrooms are very spacious and clean. The backyard is outstanding (a very large green space with large trees!) I would highly recommend this day care, nothing but great things to say!

Not a good experience…if your kids know how to socialize ,then should be good place for you…if your kids are first time to school and crying at school like mine, then you have to pay more attention, because there will not be that much attention paid to these kind of kids in this place, They like to have easy students… at my first day visit, I noticed there was a kid who was crying hard and she was left alone …I told my wife we should consider this and double-thinking about registration at this place, she insist it will be OK..I didn’t know what I saw will happen to my kid too…we registered our 3Yrs to go and learn how to socialized with other kids and we had a hope they will support her and encourage her to join group, I am not saying they did not try…but every time I was there to pick her up, She was standing alone on a side and cry or just looking at the other kids, even she was crying at home and asking not to go there anymore … after 2 weeks she got worse, day one and two was way better…we felt she got hurt, became very quiet and always worried to go back to school… we noticed that here is not a place for her to stay then pulled her out.. If your kids are kind of very attached to you and been living with family only before and it is the first time for them going to school, then I would go and check their status in different time schedules like what I did, to see how the kid is treated.

My son has been with Mini-Skool since infant room. The staff are excellent, kind and professional, the principal is a very capable person running a day care with 100 kids. I am very happy and pleased with everything, specially now, during these tough days of pandemic I appreciate them more than ever. It's not easy to stay calm and navigate concerned parents. Thanks so much for all your hard work.
