As a fairly new trainer to the industry I have consulted Sylvia when presented with cases that I have had less experience with, she has acted as my mentor on these occasions. Sylvia has a wealth of experience and knowledge and I know personally that she continues to update both these regularly. I would not hesitate to refer pet guardians to her.

We bought our first puppy in COVID, and didn’t know what we were in for! Walkabout Canine Consultant’s online classes were exactly what we needed to learn how to develop and train a high energy dog into a calm, trained, happy boy. What we learned about relationship building and enrichment went far beyond teaching our dog to “sit, stay, come”. We use our teachings daily, highly recommended for experienced and new dog owners alike!

I recently adopted a rescue dog from Michigan who had some abuse issues. When I first got him, he even bared his teeth and growled at me.
