Northern Karate Schools

I love this place! I visited many different martial art schools before choosing this one mainly because of the friendly atmosphere. The staff made me feel like I was part of a big family since day one. I have been attending Northern Karate Schools Ajax for over a year now and it has been one of the best experiences of my life. I have a few medical issues and I was concerned that I would not be able to participate in any martial art activity. My doctor suggested I participate on a limited basis. I was very scared and very nervous. With the guidance of the senseis, I have been able to fully participate in each class. The instructors are very patient and understanding of my situation. The students are also very friendly, courteous, and encouraging. I'm always excited to attend each class. I highly recommend Northern Karate Schools Ajax.

Extended family at it’s finest!NKS Ajax has consistently shown their dedication to their students, as well as their resilience to overcome obstacles in order to provide the best MENTORSHIP. Yes, there are times where the “timeframe” of your child advancing isn’t what you had mind; however, it is also because the instructors want to ensure that our children are ready and prepared to advance. As parents, it is extremely important for us to ensure our children understand and appreciate the concept of hard work. NKS Ajax has definitely been a helpful hand in reiterating that concept to my son. They have provided an extended family for my son to reach out and lean on - particularly with the younger staff. Thank you NKS Ajax for being so incredibly dynamic and attentive to all of your students. The impact you have had on my son’s overall growth is absolutely incredible. As an educator myself, the continued growth I see in the dojo makes me so hopeful for the future of the students because of the dedication of the staff. I have never seen my son so excited about anything he has ever been involved in. I love that the instructors are strict, but fair and give him structure and discipline. The atmosphere is very welcoming and multi-cultural. I like the fact my son has to work for stripes and stars and not just get something for showing up. The instructors hold their students accountable. I like that! I highly recommend Northern Karate Ajax.

An amazing martial arts school that encourages kids to achieve their excellence. My son has been with them for over a year now and we have nothing but good words for the school. The Senseis are amazing and inspiring. I would highly recommend this karate school for excellent overall growth of your kid.

I have been going to this dojo for about 5 years now. I have had plenty of fun in the karate school. The senseis are very kind and they really care about the students. It has been a pleasure practicing martial arts at this school and would recommend it to anyone interested in learning karate.

I love this karate school. It is bright, open, clean and welcoming. I can watch my son’s classes anytime I want. The instructors are great, knowledgeable, and clearly love what they do. I’m happy to find a school that is multi cultural and inclusive. I feel at home here. My son loves going to classes. I’m going to enroll his younger sister once she turns 4.

My son been going to this school since 2017; our friends have been sending their kids since we were, today I had such cheap incident, disrespectful and racist. The kids say at the end of class “ I promise to become the best possible person I can be” unfortunately the owners and school couldn’t show case that when there was an issue.Best $ grabbing institution. Horrible treatment for parents. No respect. It’s all about money money money.Think before you sign up

I enrolled my two kids at Northern Karate School in Ajax for the three month summer course and realized within a couple of classes that it is one of the best decision we took. The environment, culture, ever enthusiastic teaching staff instantly had the positive impact on my kids and they have not missed a single class of karate till now. I would definitely recommend this place.

You could not find a more dedicated, engaged group of professionals! My kids have been attending since 2016. The Sensei’s love what they do and make karate an amazing experience for all ages. I am very pleased with their progress and most importantly, my kids are very happy. There's no other comparison. Norther Karate Schools Ajax is the best and 100% recommended! Wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

I'm giving Northern Karate an early 5-star. My boys just reached yellow belt. Teachers are excellent and kids do get more disciplined. My guys are 7 and 9 so I feel it's the perfect age to instill sense of self control through Karate.The one thing I did notice is that their yellow/orange belt classes are packed. There are at least 50 kids right now practicing Karate. I didn't knock off any points because I don't know what their solution is. Perhaps start limiting new members?Anyways I would highly recommend to parents who want to get their maturing children to learn about self discipline and control.If anything changes I will update my review.
