H&R Block

It's a little bit messed up how someone tried to steal a total of$42.36 off my prepaid Master Card from H&R Block and they shut down my card without even informing me or telling me that someone tried to steal from me.Now my money sits on an inactive card. I wouldn't suggest to do your taxes here.

The lady there are amazing.

Janette was super helpful and friendly quick to answer any questions. Bruce was super quick on getting my taxes in on time even got me a little money back. Great staff, minimal wait.

**Update** I was sick and missed my appointment with Vicky last week. She told me to drop off my stuff when I felt better and she’d do it as soon as she could, as she was fully booked for the coming weeks. I dropped it all off yesterday. There was a lot to go through and the front staff told me Vicky would be able to hopefully get to it in 5-7 days. To my pleasant surprise, she called me personally this afternoon to tell me it was ready. Within 5 minutes of paying, I got a CRA email that it was already filed!All the staff at the Young Road and Vedder offices seem to be helpful and friendly but, Vicky continues to impress me every year. It’s a relief knowing exactly who to go to, and that it will be done right, and fast. I will never again have a tax year that I refer to as, “The year I didn’t see Vicky.” While hanging my head in shame. I can’t thank her enough.Can not say enough good things about Vicky C. She goes above and beyond every year for me. She’s even corrected mistakes from other people. I recommend her to everyone. Definitely an asset to H&R Block in Chilliwack.

Ok I don't like to leave bad reviews right away but this is a unique circumstance. I dropped off my taxes in March to be completed. I called back in march to verify everything was in order and I would not have to pay extra if they took until april to complete. It is now april 16th and I went down to get my refund only to find that they charged me almost 50$ more than I'm used to. I had been going to another H&R block for years and the price had never changed. I called my old H&R block today to verify the prices and I was told they were the same as years past. My taxes have not changed in over 10 years. This branch could not do anything for me as it is the way the computer is set up" ..... feel ripped off and not taken care of. The lady at the front desk was nice and told me the manager would call me tomorrow.******** I will update this review when I get the call.No one called. Lost our business for sure. RIP OFF<<<<<<<<
