The Home Depot

Won’t be shopping here anymore after purchasing 2 different items in a row both came damaged delaying our renovations and having Home Depot just refund the order without communicating what happened. We were told we could reorder which would set us back another week after we had to reach out to find out what happened with our order but wouldn’t trust them to deliver undamaged and unfortunately both products were not available for purchase in store. Until they get a better delivery service do not recommend shopping online here.Update: reached out to Home Depot as requested and they further discounted the item and promised to try to expedite it and add extra checks to make sure it wasn’t damaged. The product came with the top completely cracked again. After many back and forth with the company the only solution found was for them to either reorder it again or refund the item. As we were unwilling to reorder again with now 2 broken vanities and 2 weeks behind we opted for the refund. They scheduled a pick up to do the return so basically 2 weeks later we have nothing to show for it other than being behind on our renovation and having wasted ours and our contractors time. If you can, shop somewhere else, as their delivery is terrible and will leave you behind on your projects with nothing but damaged items to show for it.

Poor delivery service and lack of accountability. Apparently, the company home depot uses for delivery only delivers to the curb of your property, so good luck if you need your item in a specific place oh and if you're not home they'll just put it wherever they want rain or shine and you'll figure it out on your own. Apparently, Home Depot thinks this is a normal level of service.

I have been in several times as I was working on a reno, service and advice was amazing each time. I had to return a few items and again fast friendly service!!

This young boy came to help the paint section because it was really busy, and while he was helping another gentleman, this man approached him and was badgering him for helping in paint! I heard him say I don't care about the $50 paint" and I was absolutely shocked. I took my paint and left

I have been trying to contact customer service all day and have been on hold for a total of 5 hours. I would wait on hold 30-40 minutes per call and then the rep would hang up on me. Finally i got ahold of someone and was informed my issue would have to be brought to the manager, my call was transfered and after about 25 mins on hold, they hung up on me once again. This is unacceptable.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Can't ever get through on phone line Automated phone service not very efficient. Home Depot not appreciative of their customers.

Nice store however staff really don't show an interest. Pass you along. Neatly staff not properly educated on stock. Some areas of store not recommend for wheelchairs. Too cluttered. Staff don't display stock properly on shelves. HOLES items not in proper spot. I worked retail we called it Facing BRING stock to front. Also staff won't check if when item can be available. If bot available removal of Signage or indicate an appropriate stock date and staff follow up with new dates showing 3 weeks still out. That tells Company do something about it. Also interactions shipping from store to store a Nightmare. Home Depot is Home Depot. THATS WHAT THE STORE SIGN indicates but so much BS given to customers. Bottom line Home depot profits from every store

Zero customer service skills . Went in to find a trimmer that was supposed to come with a bonus battery charger pack . Trimmer was in seasonal but no sign of the battery pack . Could not find an employee to ask as they were much too busy playing on their phones. Found a self checkout cashier who pointed me in the direction of tools . Nothing to be found there as I walked around for nearly 20 minutes trying to find someone in tools to assist . Started walking towards seasonal again and stopped to ask another cashier to page an associate for me to help locate the item that was showing in stock . Tools associate comes over and says that’s seasonal . Seasonal associate paged over . Doesn’t know anything about this deal . Perhaps your associates need better training so that they know what department their items are found in . Walked out after 35 minutes wasted empty handed

There are some decent products they sell, but as a whole the store has slipped allot. Service there is almost non existent. If you don’t know what you need, good luck.You are either dealing with a bunch of kids that don’t care, or some power tripping managers that take their title at work to another level.If you see something you like there, look on amazon or elsewhere online. You’ll often find something less expensive.
