The Ridge Kennels | We are a family-run dog daycare and dog boarding kennel in Hamilton, Carlisle, Waterdown, Burlington, Oakville, Kitchener, and surrounding areas. We watch dogs overnight or during the day. Currently a home daycare and boarding. We have outdoor play areas and indoor home space for dogs.

I’ve been taking my pup Bruce to the Ridge for months now and I couldn’t be happier with the care he receives. He’s always so tired when I pick him up at the end of the day and I love being able to see photos and videos of his play time with the other dogs. Rachel and Emily are great at communicating and have an amazing setup. 10/10 recommend!

I have brought Maki for the day and overnight boarding at The Ridge multiple times. She absolutely loves it there! It is her home away from home. There is a lot of space for her to run around or just relax. She is always taken very well care of by the staff at The Ridge. I would highly recommend The Ridge to anyone who needs their dog to have a fun, safe, space to hangout!

Lily, my mini doodle had the best time. It was her first time as an adult dog being away from family, Lily is 41/2, I received pictures during our weekend and Lily was treated like family. Everyone was happy with her stay. I definitely see more visits to the Ridge, in our future. Thank you Rachel and Terry

The Ridge is a wonderful doggie day care! I am super picky about who I leave our dogs with and I could not be happier with everything about this place, the care Rachel provides, the clean, large fun indoor and outdoor space for the dogs to play in a beautiful country setting. They felt “at home” very quickly and had tons of fun. I love all the Instagram videos that Rachel posts so I can see my boys having the time of their lives. So glad we found your place it was such a treat and I know they are anxious to go back soon!

I’ve taken Haengbok to boarding multiple times and it’s been amazing! She is slower to open up in new situations and is shy, but they go at her pace and I can tell she’s more and more comfortable there. I haven’t seen her this comfortable compared to other boarding places I’ve brought her to. She loves spending time outside, observing and doing her own thing. They post lots of updates on Instagram and Rachel is super easy to get a hold of via text or email.

I can’t say enough how fantastic The Ridge was with my two babies, Maikoh and Medo. They went above and beyond my expectations While they were with The Ridge last week and ensured my comfort at them staying in a kennel for the first time with pictures and texts, which helped me relax and enjoy my trip. Rachel is amazing with them and they absolutely love her. My Medo is often afraid of other dogs, yet Rachel had her calm and relaxed in very short order. The Ridge is the only place my fur babies will be going to from now on.
