If you ever need work done to your vehicle, you are not going to do better than coming here. We drove from Alberta had trouble with our motorhome in St. John's. Craig got us right in and the man went far above and beyond to help us out. All of the guys in the shop made an effort to make us feel welcome while we waited. It was a really great experience to be there while they got us going again and the price for the honest work was very good. We can not thank you guys enough. Craig, we really appreciate everything! Donot go there they are scamming people. I recently went there cause my car was making noise. The mechanic said that it needs a tire rod for front and something for the back as well and I paid for that. But the noise got even worse. For a change I went to someone else. The mechanic at that shop sent me a picture. One of the parts was put in wrong which made the noise. His conclusion was that it was deliberate as it could be a way to charge me more money. He also told be that back tire are completely fine as they don't need any sort of parts or repair!!!!

The staff is fantastic and very helpful. We've been going to them for our EV as long as we have had it. They have gotten us out of jams several times. Fixed up a nail in a tyre and had us on our way in 15 minutes.

I came to Shane at 4 pm on a day before a big storm. He squeezed me in only to find out all my lug nuts we're swollen and I had the wrong size tires for my vehicle, he made it seem like it was no big deal, I have been to many garages and I have never felt such genuine customer service before. He put used winter tires on my car so I could get home safely and fit me in the next day to get the proper size tires put on. He told me when I was leaving that it was about me being safe to be on the road and I truly felt that from him and everyone at City Tire!! You guys were absolutely fantastic, I can't thank you enough as a young female it's not easy finding a garage you can trust. Highly recommend !!

I had pre booked my motorhome 2 weeks in advance for service. Routine maintenance, oil change, radiator flush, transmission oil change and rear differential oil change I picked the 8AM appointment on a Monday so it would be the first appointment for the week.I actually called a few days prior to bringing my vehicle in for service to confirm my appointment, to ensure they had enough time booked for the vehicle.Upon dropping it off I had even asked the service advisor if they had enough time slotted for the work.He assured me yes not a problem, before I even had a chance to say if you don't, just give me an oil change and a radiator flush as that is what I needed done the earliest.I dropped the vehicle off at 7:45 on my appointment date. I was encouraged to see that an employee was moving my vehicle for what I thought was my service appointment prior to me being picked up.At 2:20 PM I called City Tire to check on the status of my vehicle. The lady said the vehicle had not been serviced yet and it was the next vehicle to be put in the service bay.My wife returned home from work. I explained the above.At 4:45 PM she called City Tire and a male employee answered the phone. She was told that our vehicle was still in the pound" at the rear of their building and it still had not been serviced.She was told that they would not be waiting around for her as they closed at 5PM.My wife told him to take the vehicle out of their "pound" and put it back on their lot and we would pick it up.We arrived at 5PM the place was in darkness however there were vehicles still being worked on in their service bays as the doors were open.We picked up our vehicle and left.This was my first experience with this repair shop as we have recently moved to this area.We were actually recommended to go there by a family member.I can assure you we will NEVER go back there for service.After owning my own business for several years it is "service" that can make or break your business.I can assure from our contact with this business there was NO service whatsoever

Bought 1st set of tires ($3000 Duratracs) for my Tundra there 1 year ago. Started leaking this spring. Every 2 weeks add 5lbs to 2 tires. Brought it in yesterday to fix slow leaks. After waiting 1.5 hrs. They say needs two new valves w/sensors and I can bring in new ones to have them replaced. Now one tire lasts 8hrs before flat and both rims have gouges from when they checked for leaks. Manager says their other garage is responsible, not them. They state they did not break them down. My dash cam states otherwise. Let’s just say they lost my business***In response to your 1st reply***.Yes, as I was told the valves were beyond repair. As instructed, I was was going to bring the new valves to have you replace them.With regards to the breakdown equipment contacting under the rim. I’m not sure what they used. They used some sort of press as indicated in the newly attached photos. They placed the rim face up on the press and used the press to get access to the valves.With regards to the brake dust comment. I hope you are not insinuating that the damage was done before arriving at your garage:#1 it is awful coincidental the the only two rims that were damaged in the valve stem area were the two rims that were removed for repair.#2 are you saying that your garage damaged the rims last summer rather than yesterday? This is the first set of tires replaced on this truck rims by you establishment last summer. I was looking forward to buying all my Goodyear tires for my vehicles from your business and friendly staff.More than likely that grime imbedded into the rim was left over residue pressed in by the press tool they used in the attached pics.No you did not remove the tire. That was not needed. The tires needed to be compressed to get access internal valves to inspect them.Yes, please review your surveillance footage so this does not happen to your future customers. I want know how this damage was done just as much as you do to prevent this from happening in future. I hope we can resolve this issue together and change this review to a more positive outcome. No one likes to be called a liar.

Excellent service ! Very friendly. I had a flat tire on the way to work, they got me in right away,tire got fixed and I was on my way back to work within an hour. Super ! Very reasonable prices too. I will definitely be back .

Not happy that I was quoted a price but ended up paying more as they quoted the wrong car tire model.Admitted their mistake, manager said he would make it up to me by discounting truck tires yet gave me the same price as I got when calling in anonymously. Some honorable discount!

Seven hours to get tires on rims changed over, if they had to tell me I'd have gotten them done elsewhere.Great wheel alignment though !!Edit to add; i dont know how to respond to city tire on this, but i did email them, havent got a response. I had an appointment for 10am for both the tires and the wheel aligment, i got back into my car about 445/5pm, i had called at 2 to see if they had forgotten me and they said they were waiting for someone to get around" to my tires as they were busy that day. But yes i did have an appointment."
