I've never had worse food in my life. The quesadillas were a soggy piece of tortilla with what tasted like microwaved pieces of Walmart chicken. What you get is 2 tiny, and I mean tiny little quesadillas for $11.50. Stay away. Never again.

I have to say, none of the negative reviews on here bear any resemblance to our experience at this place. It's a real gem, and a welcome addition to Charlottetown's mealtime offerings. The food was warm, delicious, and made entirely in-house -- it's food made by people who take pride in what they do, and it definitely shows. The pork quesadilla was tasty, as was the steak taco, and we finished it off with a truly glorious churro. The owner is wonderfully friendly, as is the rest of the staff -- we left full, happy, and definitely inclined to return for more!

We were in Charlottetown for a play and discovered this restaurant right across the street from Confederation Centre. It has been open for six months. The food was fabulous and welll priced! It is eat in or take out, very casual and authentic. So glad we found this gem!

Incredible food! Super authentic and delicious, you can tell this food was made with love. Everything came promptly and was hot and tasty. Great vegetarian options. Be sure you try the guacamole and the churros!

we stopped in for lunch and it was superb. Food is fresh, nicely prepared not 'in bulk boring manner' and super tasty. Eating in" food was served on real plates

Went there for lunch with a friend. I had ordered Green chicken Enchiladas and my friend ordered Nachos with a side of Guac. We took a seat and mine arrived first in a timely fashion. First thing I noticed was it wasn't Green sauce it was the Red sauce. But whatever, I'll eat it. Not a big deal. I take a bite and it is so dry in the middle that not even the sauce or sour cream could help with how dry this was. It reminded me if I had went to restaurant and took home left overs and the next night I reheated them in the microwave. My friends food did not arrive when mine did despite him having ordered first.I wait for 5 min for his food but they are busy so maybe it's backed up a little, so I started to eat.I had eaten over half my meal and we started to see people who ordered 5-6 people after us getting their food and my friends nachos still no where to be found.Walk to the counter to ask and they had forgotten the Nachos in the microwave for what has been now 15 min. He is given the plate and he sits back down. Because the Nachos were in the microwave for that amount of time, they were soggy from the Salsa and veggies juices. Noodle like.He takes a couple bites and brings it back. Letting them know that he doesn't want it because they were soggy from sitting in the microwave. The owner and lady behind the counter both look at him, neither of them ask him any follow up questions, nor they do offer anything in return. They just take the dish and walk away. Which was a contrast from the lady who took our order who was knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. What makes this visit so disheartening and disappointing is the original in the farmers market contrast from night and day. I won't be going back to the restaurant, and I'll stick the with farmers market version. :(If I had to say more, I prefer if it was a restaurant style rather than a subway style restaurant. It still feels like Burrito Jax but serve more than just Burritos.

Terrible experience. DONT KNOW HOW TO MAKE A TACO! Will never return. My meal was delayed and cold. Came with no tacos! Ya really. I returned it and they microwaved it for a min and destroyed it! Then they brought 2 tacos 4 minutes later. She admitted she doesnt know how to make a taco. I walked out and left everything.

Look I'm not sure what's happening with the other reviews. I'm Mexican and I can tell you there is not a more authentic restaurant in all of Canada. Yes that includes Montreal and Toronto, and Halifax. Maybe people are expecting flavourless tex-mex burritos the size of your face. This is real Mexican food; though a bit pricey due to its location, food like this is impossible to find in most Canadian cities. Their tortillas for tacos are HAND MADE IN HOUSE so make sure you can get some right when they come out. Uses local PEI beef. Get yourself three tacos, and an impossible-to-find michelada (a Mexican specialty, like a spicy bloody Ceasar with your choice of mexican beer) and it's pretty much what you'd find anywhere on the street in Mexico. Decor needs some retooling but is fine. Service is great - try out your Spanish! Wish there was a patio but came for the food, so no worries. Thankfully zero Banda music!

Delicious Mexican food, reasonably priced, excellent location (right across the street from Confederation Centre). Mexican food made by Mexicans (on PEI that is rare). The atmosphere could do with a little work as it is very casual but if that is what you are looking for it is great!
