My 3 boys have played with WMFA for 4 years. They have been on last place teams and 1st place teams and have loved it. They have had good coaches and bad coaches. My boys have learned how to work as a team and be better individuals. They have learned that when you work together as a team, good things happen. Even if you don't win , they are learning about life, you can't always win. My boys love WMFA and look forward to football every year. Good job to the board and coaches for helping my boys to become great young MEN. Keep doing what you are doing.

My 9 year old started football with no previous experience whatsoever. The league has proven to be well organized and provides opportunity for boys to develop into men through discipline, dedication, effort, teamwork, communication, and adversity. The Wolfpack team for the Tykes division has been specifically incredible. Best coached team (house league or otherwise) that I’ve seen. Everyone gets playing time. Everyone gets opportunities. Everyone gets coached. There’s discipline without any humiliation or abuse. The kids respect each other and their coaching staff. The parents aren’t acting like children on the field for game day. It’s a healthy community. My son is learning a tonne in such a short amount of time and it’s exceeded our expectations and we’re grateful we signed up. We’re not looking to have a star player, but rather looking for our son to develop into a man of integrity with life experience to grow…and he’s having lots of fun doing it.Thanks to Jeff Melko, Tony Smith, and the rest of the coaches (and all of Windsor Minor Football organizers). Your efforts have been a blessing to my family.

Coaches seem to think it’s nfl and if your child is new to the sport they hardly pay attention to them and they sit the sidelines while some kids never leave the field from top to bottom seems like zero effort for fairness or inclusivity - they should allow everyone to have equal playtime regardless if skill level and rotate positions instead of having 5-6 kids that do everything - again this is not travel, elite level or nfl! I would never recommend this league to anyone

Letter written in newspaper from a 13 years old caught up in red tape needs to be addressed.See Windsor Star, August 14th, 2017. Human needs and human circumstances shouldn't be caught up in red tape or control. Think of the player.
