Sunshine Diner
Good food, good service - though a bit pricey. Walked in at 9am on Saturday morning, so only a few tables taken at this time. Got the one meat brkfst (Oktoberfest sausage), eggs, toast and potatoes - which came out fast. Also appreciated that servers walked around regularly to refill our coffee.. Had 3 cups of Java that morning.

Great little breakfast atmosphere. Love it and will go back.... BUT....after my daughter explained she had a peanut allergy, the first condiment that arrived to enjoy our meal with was peanut butter. Just saying, otherwise great spot.

Awesome breakfast diner! Great delicious food that absolutely hits the spot first thing or later in the morning (breakfasts like these are probably my favourite thing for lunch). Portions are great, traditional breakfasts = excellent; omelettes = excellent; pancake breakfasts = excellent; sides = definitely yes. Prices are good. Just a super cool and chilled circa 1955’s breakfast diner with tons of nostalgia on the wall. A great place to bring friends, family, visitors from out of town, you can’t go wrong. Servers are very fast, polite, and friendly. Gets quite busy after 10:30 am so better to get in early, like from 9:30 am. We have been here often and will definitely keep coming back. Highly recommended.

Good food great service!I love how big the plates are, each comes with a side of fries (which were super crispy and well seasoned) and a bowl of fruits. I got the vegetarian option without eggs and had to assemble my own sandwich which was fun for me. I also got the freshly squeezed orange juice which was also great and truly from the fruit (and hard to find in Vancouver I’ve noticed).The patio is pet friendly and they brought out a bowl of water for my dog.I found it a bit pricey, total was around $60 for two plates orange juice and a ceasers drink. It was worth it but not a place I would be able to visit often

The food was awesome! Best French toast I've ever had. Huge portions too. The staff were very friendly. The whole restaurant is super cute. The prices are quite high but its worth it for great food and great service

Always a favourite all-day breakfast spot. Best traditional diner decor. Bugs Bunny and Loonie toons cartoons on tvs to entertain the kids. Good food. Friendly service.

The Sunshine Diner in Kitsilano is one of this neighborhood's most popular destinations, especially when you need a hearty breakfast to get your day going. Their menu includes everything you need to make this happen: different versions of Eggs Benedict, pancakes, sandwiches, and a long etc. Portions are generous and, in some cases, will include fruit and fried potatoes. Meaning, these are very filling dishes. Fresh coffee is always offered by their friendly staff. Prices are fair based on quality and quantity. Come pay a visit, you can't miss this place on W. Broadway, just look for Marilyn, James, and Elvis!

A great diner with retro 60s and 70s vibes, and of course phenomenal food! Their menu selection covers a lot of different dietary concerns and flavours, though on the pricier side. Though the food definitely didn't disappoint, I highly recommend their sunshine benny :)
