Reviews are mostly friends. This place is gross, the tempura batter is for frying chicken, not even Tempura batter, there is no shushi chef here. The shushi at Walmart is comparable. Shushi should never be greasy. It is here often.

Happened to stay in Vanderhoof on a motorcycle trip last August.Walked over to this place & what a treat! Some of the best sushi we have ever had! Great service & large portions...the Signature rolls were incredible. Highly recommended if you are passing through.

Made scallop cone and where amazing. Salmon sushi was very thin. Not worth what u pay. Other sushi restaurants have way bigger portions. I’ve purchased Al out of salmon sushi for myself. Why do restaurants want that much profit. Never will order salmon sushi again.

Nice place with friendly staff. Had the green tea, baby octopus, mixed tempura and rainbow roll and everything was delicious. The menu is much bigger than the pictures posted online. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a place to eat in town.

Opening weekend service was pleasant! Servers were nice. The miso soup was very good. Spicy California and Spicy Tuna rolls followed. The Spicy California Roll had just enough of a kick to it to actually name it spicy. The tuna was flavourful but had no hint of spice. Thankfully I had wasabi.Ill be back.

As an advid sushi eater, and love trying new spots and new rolls. This spot has alot of potential as its a new restaurant in a small town. The rolls were fairly tasty. Slightly disproportionate, and on the smaller size. Presentation was beautiful, tonights service started strong and started to teter off, with no follow up as food was consumed. The vibe and design is beautiful. Look forward to becoming a repeat customer and watch the improvements as they work out all the kinks :)Edit and update. 5 stars.Staff amazing inviting and fun.Food portions and flavors and menu i love it. So much improvement and is one of my new favorite treat" night dinner with my family."
