Torey is an amazing teacher. She really cares about student’s music taste and will provide more suitable pieces based on student’s interest. Meanwhile, she also focusing on the technic, which can help the student walk longer. P.S. I’m an adult student and picked up piano after almost 20 years.

Torey was great with our girls. She made piano lessons fun buy allowing them to pick songs that interested them whether it be contemporary songs, classical, or pop music. We had a great experience

Our son started lessons with Torey when he was six and it has been amazing to see his progress and how much he enjoys his time with her each week. Torey has been teaching our son piano since he was in first grade, and, now in grade 4, he continues to love his lessons with her. Torey has an amazing way of making lessons fun while also ensuring steady skill progression. She has such a wonderful energy and kids gravitate toward her. She is a consummate professional - always well prepared and organized. It was incredible watching the enthusiasm and effort she brought to moving lessons and recitals online during the pandemic. Whether in person or online, we have felt so fortunate to have her teaching our son and would recommend her without hesitation.

Torey has been teaching our son since he was three and she's fantastic. She's very warm and easy to work with and also knows how to get the most out of children. I am a (very) mature student who started learning piano 2 years ago and Torey is my third teacher.Several things deserve emphasizing.- Torey is very good at noticing the weaknesses in my techniques and doesn't overload me with advice every week. Just a bit here and a bit there.- Secondly, we started 2 months ago so I've only had Zoom classes, but I have found I love them! Using my own piano and in my own environment, there are less mental distractions so I can focus completely on my playing and Torey's encouraging comments and advice.- Lastly, my first instructors were very nice and everything, but I have found Torey's teaching resonates with me and I can finally see progress every week.I would recommend Torey to adult learners who need to learn fundamental piano techniques as well as pursue their personal musical goals.

Torey has been a great piano teacher for my daughter, both as an instructor and as a guide. My daughter is a little shy and timid but she has consistently offered positive feedback about her experience with Torey so obviously Torey provides a welcoming and comfortable learning environment.
