Anne’s Chip Stand

There are days when you just want something. Today was one of those days!Not feeling inspired to cook, an order from Anne’s Chip Stand, filled the void.The parasol - a poutine with ground beef and onions was delicious. Don’t try and tackle anything larger than a medium (for one person). It was spilled with wonderfully squeaky curds, a generous helping of ground beef and a perfect amount of grilled onions.The Farmette (bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, mushroom and cheese) was equally as good.So, if you are looking for that perfectly sinful but comforting dinner, this may just be the spot for you.

Best poutine outside of Quebec? I haven’t found one that’s better. Worth a detour if you’re heading between Montreal and Ottawa.

The food at Anne's is cooked when ordered so it's always hot and freshly made. It'd be nice if a veggie burger/option were added to the menu.

By far the best chip stand in the region. The menu is concise but offers enough variety for everyone. Highly recommend the fried pickles, the pop curds, the Italian sausage, burgers, poutine...OK, everything on the menu is delicious.

Good service, food and portions. Worth the stop. Try the farmer's burger.

Discovered Anne's 2 years ago when we moved to the area, and of the dozen or so meals we've had, we love them all. Best onion ring poutine in the area.

Really liked this place. They were really nice and it was great getting a homemade burger instead of a frozen patty. I'll be going back, oh did I mention thier deep fried curd!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heavenly chicken poutine. I will be coming back in 2 weeks to try the Anne's poutine. I can't wait. The fries are to deliciously crispy and they gravy is amazing. I am coming from Montreal and really happy to be traveling just to eat here. Divine!
