Cut the Clutter

We were referred to Cut the Clutter from our realtor to come in and pack up our home in Burnaby Sonia and her team had our two bedroom apartment packed up within 6 hours . She even arranged the movers and was able to do our move out clean . What a fantastic service. Will definitely recommend her to friends and family .

RUN from this company!!!I had two dates scheduled with Sonia and literally an hour after receiving my $2000 deposit she cancelled. Would only return half the deposit claiming she doesn’t refund deposits because she booked my job yet no dates were set since she cancelled them. Her website states no refunds for “Short Notice Cancellations” yet she apparently can cancel and not even tell you she isn’t coming. I was kind enough to give her a chance to complete some work to recoup the remaining unreturned $1000 and even said I would likely have a bit more work. I had no choice since I am on leave due to a serious illness with my husband and can’t afford to walk away from $1000. All of which she knows. She scheduled another date and of course never showed up. When I contacted her she had yet another excuse for cancelling again. Now she claims she doesn’t have my deposit because of another job that hasn’t paid her. She has lots of excuses and does nothing but take your money. RUN!!! She will take advantage of you and it hurts to be scammed.

It was so amazing working with Sonia! She hired our moving team to help move her client right after helping them de-clutter. Everything in the house was very well organized, with all the boxes and furniture labeled and colour-coded, making it super easy for us to do the move and know exactly where everything was going. This was definitely one of our favourite moves till this day; moving her client from Vancouver to New Westminster in no time at all. Can’t wait to work with you again in the future Sonia!

Sonia was absolutely amazing! We just moved and I was having trouble finding time to unpack with two young kids. I gave Sonia a call and she only needed a day and a half to unpack my entire house. Not only is she a wonderful and friendly person, but she is so organized and makes sure each item gets placed in the right spot! Your home looks absolutely amazing when she’s done. She was our angel and we’re so happy with her work, would absolutely recommend her! It’s 100% worth it!! ❤️

A great service for when you want to completely remove stress of moving. Cut the clutter did an incredible job! Sonia came over to give us a thorough quote and run through their services. On the day of the pack, Her team arrived on time and finished the job in only a few hours. My mothers belongings are extremely well organized with all of the boxes labeled. As a business owner I did not have the time to organize, pack, and move myself. I hired Cut the Clutter because they instantly knew what was required, and had the skills and professionalism to make everything come together for a very smooth move. I didn't have to think about a thing, it was all handled. Everything from packing, refuse removal, house & carpet cleaning. Sonia, you set up two dates and cancelled both within an hour of receiving my deposit. I chose to cancel because we found out we needed a lift for my husband and I had a feeling this is what I would be dealing with from you. Since you cancelled the first two dates right away with no new scheduled or communicated dates offered. We decided it was best to cancel your service. You returned half my deposit and I told I will need your services to recoup my unreturned deposit. I actually reached out to you and it was days later when you then said you had Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday available the week of March 21st. I choose Monday and Wednesday. Out of the total of 4 dates booked you have either not shown up or cancelled 3 of those dates. Those days were turned upside down by your lack of communication. You stated yesterday you had not been paid for a job you did on the weekend and did not have my deposit. Do the right thing and return our deposit

I recently downsized from a house to a condo and engaged Sonia from Cut the Clutter to assist me. Of particular importance to me was that many items large and small, would not end up in the landfill. Sonia helped immensely in that process. She is well connected within the lower mainland communities regarding services and resources so the majority of my goods were dealt with and ‘rehoused’. Creative solutions were initiated to sell or eliminate small goods. Items I thought were of no value turned out to have value due to her diligent research for which I had neither the time nor inclination. I appreciated that while mine was a small job in relation to her contracts, she provided me with attention, professionalism and creativity a large scale downsize and move would entail.
