All the important things you're looking for in a mechanic shop. They're honest, reputable and do good work. Depending on where you live they are a bit of a drive but worth it in my opinion.

Attached is his handy work. I went in for a distributor replacement, and he plugged the vent tube with a screw because he couldn't be bothered to check his books to see where it goes. If this style of distributor is not vented correctly, it will fail much, much sooner. That was the last straw among many.I got my car back from him with two huge oil footprints on the driver side mat. Had to throw them out and buy new ones. Also be prepared to have huge scratches on your fenders from him not putting anything on the fenders when he leans in.One good thing I will say is that he does seem to know AC systems well. Went for an AC recharge on two different cars and both were returned with ice cold AC. I'm willing to bet that has more to do with the equipment he has on hand than his competence.
