Nice staffs. Tho they are usually very busy, you can still tell that they are trying to help patients. The lady taking the blood test is super nice. I am always afraid of needles. She keeps talking to me to distract me from focusing on the pain, which helps me a lot. And my doctor Dr Alice Xu is very patient and gentle. The only thing is hard to have an appointment in a month.

It’s incredibly difficult to schedule an appointment! When we first met our family doctor, we were informed that we probably have to wait almost 6 months for a normal body test. And now my wife is pregnant, and we are facing one and half months wait time to see the doctor.

In our experience with booking for an appointment, it falls far short of a satisfactory service in normal expectation/situation. Here are the facts:-1) 90% of the time, there is no one to ask the phone. Furthermore, there is no means of leaving a message for any follow-up. In other words, when there is a need to request any service, there is no communication line whatsoever. The patience is facing a wall!!!!!2) I have related these facts to our family physician as well as the administrative staff. They indicated that there is not very much they can do about it. There is strong indication that there is a severe shortage of staff to handle the workload.3) The web site for booking as appointment is very unfriendly. It is very difficult to migrate through it. Moreover, It does not reflect the real booking time table. For example, once I tried to book an appointment for April 21, 2022 with Dr. Alton Wong, the web site was giving me the indication that there was no time slot any more. However, when I finally managed to get through in the phone (after much hardship I might add), there was available time slot on that date with Dr. Wong.All in all, our experience with the administration of this medical facilities is extremely bad, and there is no indication of any willingness to facilitate any improvement in the not distant future. They are driving the patents away from that facility!!!!!!Anthony C, K. Ching

Dr Wong seems to have received number of patients that is over her capacity, which results in very poor service as she’s always in a rush to her next patient. As well as, she has zero patience to listen to her patients’ health cern. Some of my friends who are also this doctor’s patient told me they feel the same. Also reception is hard to reach out over the phone. I cannot say other doctors here are as bad but over all this clinic is not the best place to go for when that many issues are taken into consideration, especially when your health condition is already not optimum.

sad to see how many people feel the same way about this clinic. It used to be an excellent clinic, but now it is the complete opposite. Dr. Xu is a fine doctor, the main problem is the way the place is managed. Most of the receptionist hates their job and you can tell by the tone of their voices, they are clearly short staffed and took on more patients they could handle. It's truly sad because it has a great and convenient location in the neighborhood, but does it matter if I have to wait 3 weeks for an appointment to see my family doctor?

In the last year, the service at this clinic has taken a nose dive. I had an urgent issue to talk to the doctor about and was told the next appointment availability for Dr. Alice Xu was 43 days away. Then they told me to go to the hospital if it was an emergency. While not a life or death situation, I still needed to see the doctor sooner than 43 days. The issue is they've taken on too many patients and don't have enough time for everyone. I had to switch clinics and doctors to actually be able to get help in a reasonable amount of time. If you don't want to wait a month to see your family doctor, start far away from this place!!!

I recently visited this clinic a few times where the receptionists really impressed me with their exceptional service. From the moment I arrived, the receptionists greeted me with a welcoming attitude and made me feel comfortable. They were extremely efficient in handling my paperwork and answering my questions when I called. They always go above and beyond to ensure that I am get the appointments I need. Overall, I would highly recommend this doctor's clinic to anyone looking for helpful receptionists.

Doctors are great but the receptionists are rude and useless. They can't even book an appointment properly. They booked a wrong time and told me to book another appointment to come back another day (And insisted that I was the one who made the mistake). I will switch to a new family doctor as soon as I can. Canada has to stop forcing people to register with just one family doctor so that this place can go out of business as soon as they can. They asked me to go to a walk-in clinic if I need something now. If you can/should just go to a walk-in clinic, then why should we register with just one family doctor? To the receptionists: I hope you and your family receive the same service that I have received.

Not sure why everyone is giving 1 star for this medical centre.It is hard enough to find a family physician who would take you on. This place is convenient, booking online is easy; just a few clicks and you have an appointment with your doctor.If you need X'Ray or Ultrasound done, it is at the same medical centre.Dr. Tommy Choy is very diligent, he would refer you to specialist to uncover any potential issues. He doesn't waste your time by answer to go in to review results from your test, you will schedule a call to go through it with you. Of cause he will not be spending 30 minutes talking to you about your result if there is nothing wrong with you. My previous doctor would ask me to go in and spent only 5 minutes with me.If you are not pleased with your doctor, good luck finding another one around the area. Most of all, you might not be able to get an appointment right away as most doctors are fully booked and overworked.

My child family doctor is Dr. Virgil Huang, he is professional, caring and warm! He seems to genuinely care for the well-being of his patients. Really appreciate it!
