Hitching Post Resort

Very beautiful place, piceful and quiet. We are very appreciate Marietta and Greg for our wonderful vacation. With great pleasure we will come again. I highly recommend visiting this wonderful place.

We had our wedding at Hitching Post after our other venue cancelled and we were so glad it worked out that way! Greg and Marietta were incredible hosts and such great people. They were so helpful setting up and helping at the wedding, they really went above and beyond. The property is so beautiful

Such kind hosts in a beautiful location in God's creation! The creek nearby was a sweetly romantic walk and the log cabin was so cute! Gotta love the landscaping, and horses and the chickens are great! What a great honeymoon location!

We were in Kelowna for our son's wedding and decided rather than come just for the wedding we would make a holiday of it. The Hitching Post was, most definitely, the right choice. Marietta and Greg are so welcoming, they truly made our entire family feel at home. They shared the horses with our grand daughter and treated her just like one of their family. The beautiful log cabin, called the Tree House, was perfect for us, with a lovely living room area featuring a cozy fireplace and many large windows to enjoy the gorgeous view of the farm.On our next trip to BC we will be sure to book ahead to ensure we are able to stay in the Tree House again.Thank you Marietta and Greg for sharing your place with us, being very gracious hosts and making our trip to BC a very memorable one.Bev and Doug

I honestly cannot praise and explain well enough how amazing our experience at this Hitching Post was! Our original wedding venue cancelled on us a short 3 months before our wedding date. We got put in touch with Greg from a neighbour in the area, and he took us on as if we were his own family getting married. Every single detail was thought of! The ceremony sight was beautifully groomed and taken care of, the cabins we stayed in were cozy and comfortable, he even drove my photographer around on a quad so she wasn't walking around with all of the equipment.They patiently communicated with me whenever I needed and were always happy to help offer solutions or suggestions for my questions!Their friendliness and hospitality was 10/10, but beyond that Greg and Marietta truly wanted our special day to be perfect- and it was!Now for the scenery and property itself- BREATHTAKING!! Naturally the property is beautiful with the valley and mountains for a back drop, but the care that is taken with maintaining the property is the next level. Our guests had an amazing time, and we did also. The cabins were very clean, with amenities that made our stay easy and comfortable.We will be visiting again for our anniversary and staying in the cabins once again.Truly cannot recommend this resort enough for a wedding, family reunion or just a beautiful weekend away in nature.

For just a short period of time from August 30 to September 2 it's so amazing to stay a place with a friendly and a wonderful people that really will take care of you and your family while you are relaxing in their place.
