Summit Custom Hardwood Flooring

We had Summit Hardwood refinish a maple dining room and reading room March 22nd & 23rd 2021. The finisher, Peter was extremely thorough and was very deliberate in his approach. It was obvious that he has a deep level of experience and knew exactly how much effort would be needed for each stage of the refinish. There was no dust during the sanding stage.The finished product is as close to perfect as possible for a natural site finished floor and exceeds the quality of the original installation. An added bonus was he was very pleasant and obviously enjoyed his craft.I have no reservation recommending this company for anyone's hardwood work

A New look to an old weathered floor.Summit refinished our old neglected floors making them absolutely gorgeous again. We purchased our home four years ago and although it has magnificent bones, it needed a refresh and the red oak floors were no exception.I had been pleading with my husband to tear them out and replace them with vinyl…they looked horrible to me. The oak was yellow and just had no real potential in my eyes. I stopped in to look for stain for our bedroom floor and got to talking with Elton. He was incredible and such a wealth of knowledge. Fast forward a couple of years. After many discussions and refusals to rip our hardwood out, my husband and I met with Elton again.Summit is amazing. Steve came out to get dimensions and provided us with a very reasonable quote. We were very flexible and due to another job being delayed, Summit came in within a couple of weeks. It took 5 days to refinish almost the entire main floor…about 900 square feet. Our floors were repaired where there was damage…who drills a hole in a hardwood floor anyway? We removed some built in pillars and they feathered new red oak in where it was missing. You would be hard pressed to even know the floors were not brand spanking new. The finish is gorgeous, the Colour (driftwood) is modern and shows the wood grains unbelievably. Our old floors have never looked so beautiful and we are absolutely in love with them.The Summit team is excellent with communication. The staff is very professional, friendly, respectful and punctual. There was zero dust at the end of each day and the floors were spotless at the end of the project. We would absolutely recommend Summit to anyone looking at refinishing their old floors, or putting new ones in. Thank you to Summit and their team for helping us make our house, our home!

Had a great experience with Summit. We were concerned about the amount of dust that would be created when we refinished our hardwood. The refinishing produced dust but it was channelled to the Summit trailer and their dust collection receptacle outside our home! The team that guided us through this experience was amazing! Our floors look great and we would highly recommend this company!
