I highly recommend a trip with The Quiet Guiding Company. The trip was safe, well organized and well led. We had opportunities to be active, adventurous, to learn new skills and/or just relax and enjoy the outdoors. Also, the food was amazing!

Do you want to have the perfect back-country canoe trip experience? The Quiet Guiding Company is the company you are looking for! I have been on two trips with this company and they have both been stellar experiences. The itineraries are well thought out and are an excellent balance between paddling and resting, with some interesting hikes thrown in. Kate, the owner, is attentive to all of her clients varying needs and will modify menus and itineraries as required. And speaking of food...you will not go hungry with the amazing food (I'm talking Mushroom Burgundy Stew!) and mornings get a kick start with some nice, strong coffee. Lastly, when you are out in the back-country you can plan all you want but it is important to be able to pivot and handle what nature and faulty equipment throw at you. The Quiet Guiding Company does it all, and I am looking forward to going on more trips with them.

I did a trip in Killarney with The Quiet Guiding Company and it was perfect - very well organized, with an excellent choice of optional activities and amazing food. The guides were fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable and making sure everyone had a great time.
