WHAT HAPPENED TO PROFESSIONALISM AND PUBLIC RESPONSIBILITY?I don’t know about the station itself, but these guys responded to a minor emergency at our condo Bayview Glen on King William Crescent on April 2, 2023 at around 11:30pm. Whether the situation was contained or nothing at all was NOT made clear as these firefighters lacked any common decency or professionalism in letting the lobby full of people know, before personally prompted by a resident to make a public announcement. Two in particular walked back and forth in and out of the lobby, also pausing for a 5 minute conversation in the MIDDLE, without letting the public and residents know the situation was safe or whatever update. It wasn’t until after I personally stopped him that he came out and MUMBLED under his breath that we can go back to our apartments with an annoyed and dismissive look on his face.Listen, i understand COVID has somehow hindered whatever people skips or normality we may have had, but your job as a government public official is to CONTAIN situations and ACT like a leader.Extremely disappointed in their cowardly attitude and behaviour. And the general public needs to be made aware.
