Enjoyed shopping at the store, but had a terrible selling experience.Brought in 4 bags of clothes (more than 40 pieces), an hour later they offered to purchase 2 of my items and noted the rest of my pieces did not meet the quality/ condition they were looking for… I left very insulted and confused as many of my items were brand new or only worn a couple of times, also seemed to be in comparable shape to condition of clothing being sold at the store…The sorting person (a male) was incredibly rude and pretentious, which I can’t understand why.Otherwise a supportable business model concept from recycling clothing perspective.

My personal shopping appointment with Maggie was just perfect! She had such a great eye for the type of style I’d like (based on a pretty simple description of what I like that I added to the appointment booking form). She had several outfit suggestions, some of which I would never have actually picked out (because they looked incredible on but maybe not obvious how perfect they would be when just on a hanger). I bought 5 outfits in the end because they were just so amazing! If my budget allowed, I would have bought another :) This was a fantastic shopping experience. I highly recommend the personal shopping at Common Sort and especially Maggie’s eye for fashion.

I booked a personal styling appointment with Maggie today at the Riverside location. It was a great experience. She had a really good eye for putting together outfits that I would not usually have the confidence to select for myself. Maggie was patient, took the time to understand my needs, and in the end, helped me find some timeless pieces for my wardrobe. Will be coming back regularly. Thanks so much!

Had a wonderful time with Maggie for my personal shopping appointment! She really paid attention to what I shared in my survey but also added some pieces I never would’ve thought of getting but ended up loving. She has a great eye for matching pieces together that I couldn’t help but buy a bunch of them. For the pieces I left behind, my 2 friends ended up buying for themselves!Thanks Maggie and Common Sort for offering this service, it was a treat.

I checked this place out on my way down Queen Street in my quest to buy some pants. What a great shop for a variety of clothes. I got something off the rack right away that fit and looked great. Was pleasantly surprised with the price! And what a great service to have a shop that will buy your clothes too. I definitely will be back to keep an eye out for more good stuff.

I needed a few capsule wardrobe items for my return to work from mat leave.Maggie pulled a variety of styles, gave me a lot of excellent tips for how to wear a variety of pieces together. An amazing store with affordable pieces! Every staff member I've interacted with is so welcoming and helpful. Maggie's personal styling service is incredible. She puts in time to find outfits that you will love and that look good on you. Highly recommended!

I've brought my gently used clothes and footwear here twice now and found the staff are friendly and the prices they pay to be fair, especially if you want to save yourself the time and effort of selling things on your own. Be prepared to wait an hour for them to review the items as it is a popular location!
