Precision Plumbing

Been meaning to write this for a long time. We had our water entrance line (from the street to the house) replaced last spring over a year ago by this competent team of pros. One of the few I called who would even take on such a job because of its complexity. They had to dig out the old pipe, replaced it with a new larger one, had it inspected and backfilled the trench on the same day. Yes it’s not a fun thing to have to do (or pay for) as a home owner, but I can say with confidence this team made it easy and it was much more affordable than expected.

We have used Precision in the past for a variety of jobs, both planned and urgent, and their service had been fine. On this last job, reconnecting a humidifier to hot water, it wasn’t the owner but another employee. The job seems ok, but they spilled a significant amount of water in our mechanical room. That water got under the sub floor and soaked a box of air filters, which they left standing in it. They also removed all the insulation from the work site and didn’t put it back. They mentioned none of this on leaving.Last summer we recommended them to my wife’s employers for a sump pump, and in mentioning our recent misadventure, it came up they they left a similar mess at their place.It’s unlikely I would recommend, and if I did need to call them, I would insist the owner come himself.

A great young, energetic, professional, and a caring team to work with. I had 2 hot water tanks replaced today. The whole process working with Preicision plumbing was painless. It is rare nowadays. I had another company first to do the job after waiting for a couple of weeks, they came on site, found the site was a little more challenging than they expected, refused job on the spot, didn't care about us. I found Precision Plumbing on line, from my first call with James to the completion of the job, my experience was surprisingly pleasant. A special thank you to Ben and Jason. They did a fantastic job and very efficient. I will use them again and will not hesitate to recommand them to anyone.

Very professional and friendly! Wayne was in a good mood throughout the job despite having to go up and down the stairs a few times (the building doesn't have an elevator). He really cares about the quality of his work and took the time to make sure nothing was leaking. Highly recommend!

These guys are efficient, punctual, trustworthy and friendly. If you live in the West Island, do not look any farther for your plumbing needs. Jason and his experienced team, did a great job of replacing the main sewer line, which was completely blocked by large roots, and the work was done without delay or any surprise charges. I highly recommend this company.

Precision plumbing was recommend by a family member and a friend. I would assume that typically they do quality and fair work, but unfortunately with my experience it was horrible. Long story short, the guy did absolutely lazy work and completely cut corners. I even had to take a day off work to make sure he was doing the bare minimum job. Not only did he do a poor job, the guy lied and blamed my wife for not having the proper material.We still haven’t received our bill after he took down our email twice and me calling, so I’m not sure if they charged us for the guy being a bad driver and getting stuck on our driveway for 45 minutes (also tearing up part of my lawn).All in all, I would think your most likely gonna have a fine experience with them, but unfortunately we did not. The only reason why they’re getting one star, is because the job is done.
