Maxi Brossard Taschereau

I recently discovered this store and now go out of my way to visit this Maxi. Great selection and prices but .....Yesterday I visited this store with my visually impaired friend to do some shopping on Friday, April 7th around 11am. We had one cart and we both bought some items.We went to the self-checkout and I processed my friends groceries since he would not be able to. After he took his bags I then started to process my groceries.It was at this time a female clerk working the self-checkout very rudely and abruptly told us next time we had to have two carts, one each, and that we were not allowed to share a cart. The way she said this was terrible and we were shocked at the way she scolded us in front of other customers. I certainly did not see any signs anywhere telling customers you had to have one cart each! We certainly did not do anything wrong.This woman totally destroyed an other wise pleasant shopping experience. She really should be more aware that people with disabilities require help.

Short of cashiers and managers are not helping and the carriage are always with paper or soft can inside. Not cleaning. When it is snowing or raining the floor inside is watery no one cleans so that the customers could go inside.

I like this branch! Great prices, fresh produce, easy access, friendly staff, usually very clean and very quiet.

Best supermarket in Brossard. Attentive employees, good low prices. They are open until 10 p.m, time when most other supermarkets are closed.Love this place!

Some of the cashiers are rude towards customers, but some are sweet.

Francis is the star and everyone knows that. But this new buddy on cash, chole chan, if I am spelling her name correctly, is a rockstar. Self checkout was down but these two nailed it.Talking about the store, I never have any issues.

I recently went to Maxi to get a few items. I didn't want to get a trolley just for a few items and i didn't find a basket, i guess they don't have any. So i got a basket that was for sale which i was going to put back after. An employee saw me and told me those baskets are for sale only. I explained to her that i didn't want to get a trolley just for a few items, she said there are baskets in the front and made me empty out my basket. I checked the front again but there aren't any free baskets! I was so upset that i left without doing my grocery shopping. They should hire employees who are respectful toward costumers and help out with problems instead of forcing them to empty out their items! They should also put free baskets, instead of charging $1 for a trolley. Horrible costumer service! Will not come back again!
