Jimmy's Coffee
Tasty coffee and a washroom downstairs for patrons. Kensington Market is a drug district after dark and is kinda sketchy at night so not for all types…as the washroom here well shows where many patrons are at. Quiet back patio for that afternoon coffee break rest. Bakery up the street (Black____? something..?) also has treats to go with your coffee.

JIMMY IS STILL THE MANNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Crack house on the outside, country club on the inside, this is one crack-a-lackin good coffee shop you don't wanna miss out on. Came here one sunny day after visiting the AGO (would HIGHLY recommend), and just like the other locations I've been to, Jimmy did not disappoint. I got the only order I ever f&@king get, an iced matcha latte. Hot tip: instead of getting it sweetened with sugar, ask for the vanilla syrup. It will run you about 80 cents more, but when I tell you I have never felt better about spending 80 cents I mean it with every inch of my itty bitty heart. Ended up paying about 6 bucks in total for the matcha, which I think is a perfectly reasonable price. There is only ever one barista working there, so you will have to wait your impatient little a$$ a little longer than you would at ur Starbucks coffee chain. #smallbusinesses Service from Baristas is always nice- they do seem slightly high, but hey I'm not complaining because they are very very nice to me. There is ample seating and an outdoor patio for when it gets warmer. Have not tried other things at this location but if the baked goods are consistently as good as the matcha at this location, I'd give it a go! Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because my all time fav matcha is still from Sanremo bakery or Pilot coffee roasters! Don't let the sketchy outside scare you!

Jimmy's Coffee in Kensington Market (Toronto) is intimate, comfort zone and very chill. Try the JVO coffee with double shot espresso. Love Nutella order the hazelnut mocha. Amazing smiles by all the staff. Don't miss out and get over here...

Visited Jimmy's Coffee for the first time, and the photos did it justice. I loved the skylight and eclectic seating options. The London fog was great, and there was reliable wifi. I recommend getting here early in the day because it gets busy and finding seating is hit or miss. I bet the patio in the back is lovely when the weather is nice. Would come again!

If you're looking for a great coffee shop with a spacious backyard patio, Jimmy's Coffee is the place for you. The coffee is good, and there's plenty of seating both inside and out. Jimmy's is the perfect place to relax with a book or catch up with friends.I've been going to Jimmy's for years, and it's always been my go-to spot for coffee. The staff is friendly and the coffee is consistently delicious. I highly recommend giving Jimmy's a try - you won't be disappointed!

Amazing place to get coffee!! The atmosphere is great all down to the bookshelves with books, to the cute seats and patio outside, alongside the pictures of Jimmy's on the wall.I got the Large Iced Lavender Mocha which was $6.25, and it was really good! I'm not a huge fan of floral flavours but the lavender was really subtle which made it super enjoyable. A great place to hang out with friends or to relax and enjoy by yourself! Lots of drink options as well!

The coffee here is decent, but the study vibes are great - really cozy in the winter and fall. The staff are always pretty friendly too!
