I attended one of their weekly packwalks for reactive dogs. My dog was having a particularly bad day, especially during the exercise at the end. We were split into two groups with a trainer each. Not once did the trainer in the middle offer help or suggestions with my dog who kept reacting towards most dogs that past us during the exercise. So I figured what I was doing was appropriate. At the end, when getting my dog's picture, the other trainer Mia, went off about all the things I was apparently doing wrong; she just criticized and didn't offer anything helpful. After she was done and we were standing there in silence, I literally had to ask her for constructive feedback, i.e. how to correct these things, and it was such a simple thing that could have easily been pointed out at any time during the walk or exercise. And after this, she felt the need to circle back to criticism again. I left what was advertised as a supportive and understanding environment feeling like sh*t. The way I was spoken to was NOT worth the free advice let alone paying for it. I never went back again.Furthermore, I witnessed her (Mia) ask an owner who they were currently training with and then insinuated that she was better. How utterly unprofessional. There are enough reputable trainers in this town, I would skip this one. Find one who treats you, the owner - the one paying, with respect.

I've been a peer of Mia's for the past 5-7 years. She is capable, astute and gifted. She offers a great service and I would not hesitate to utilize her services. In the pre-COVID world, I often took advantage of her community pack walks, as an opportunity to handle my dogs in a group setting outside of work. Mia and her team are superb.

Absolutely shameful customer service. I wish we had read these other reviews prior to booking with them. Non responsive, rude, and condescending. We have since found a different dog walker/trainer and are so much happier with the service. Do yourself a favour and keep looking.

Our beautiful rescue pup, Gipsi, was a bit of a nervous pup. After some negative experiences at a dog park, her nervousness started becoming more aggressive towards dogs. We sought the help of a trainer who used cookies to teach Gipsi not to be afraid and after a year we weren't any further along.I saw Mission Accomplished on Facebook advertising a free dog walk for reactive" dogs and immediately thought this is a person who is actually going to be able to help us!After meeting with Mia and meeting her pack we agreed to do the board-and-train package. I was nervous Gipsi would come back with less "gypsy" than she left with but I was wrong! She came back my quirky pup PLUS she now has the ability to successfully be off leash again (and SO much more)If you have any concerns

I credit Mission Accomplished K9 in saving our recuse dog's life. When he first arrived in our life, he bit, he barked, he bolted and we felt hopeless. Mission Acc. was nothing short of a miracle for our little Boston terrier who we were terrified would one day run off and never return. Today, he is a calm, gentle, albeit energetic amazing dog that we know would have never reached this stage without their help. And the care has been continuous. Any issues or concerns, Mission Accomplished helps us work through them. They also board our little guy whenever we go away, and walk him on the most amazing adventures twice a week (he always comes home exhausted!). We know they do great work because every time he is picked up, he's beyond excited and after being dropped off, sits at the door the rest of the evening, waiting for his beloved dog walkers return. Please, if you want your dog to receive the best care and training, ignore the negative reviews and connect with Mission Accomplished K9 Services. Nothing short of amazing.

Mia is a great trainer and has been an integral part of making me a better dog handler and owner. My first dog was both people and dog reactive. I thought we’d be stuck walking at 4am forever, trying to avoid everything. With Mia’s help, we created structure and boundaries within which the dog could thrive. She taught me how to be a confident handler and send confident vibes down the leash to help my dog. Mia will tell you what you need to hear whether you want to hear it or not, but she’s a life saver and we couldn’t be more grateful.

I have so much more confidence in my skills as a handler of my dog after contacting Mission Accomplished K9 Services. The most important part of this Board & Train experience was seeing my dog being free to live life as a dog and enjoy herself. After a series of bad interactions, taking Summer for walks was not a fun experience as she has grown fearful and quite reactive to unfamiliar dogs. It didn’t help that she was already an insecure, anxious, but also somewhat dominant German Shepherd; but on top of all that, she had terrible dog manners and did not know how to control her own excitement causing a lot of unpleasant situations. Now I am able to walk my dog and enjoy it, trust her off-leash (in the appropriate settings), being able to see her play with her doggy friends and exhibit appropriate dog manners.Of course, as dog owners we have to keep up with the training but Mia has shown her ability to support us with any issues we may have. Mia is a great person and passionate about what she does. Mia is a busy person because she is so passionate about helping dogs and you are accessing her services for her expertise to better yourself and your dog's quality of life. After Mia’s Board & Train, Summer is MUCH less anxious dog and respectful around the house. It was amazing to see Summer listening to commands and I'm so thankful that I reached out for support.

Was going to join the free walk with my reactive dog but before it started I was centered out in front of the group by the person facilitating the walk. The woman organizing the walk was not professional. She didn't introduce herself, or even come to help when she could see my dog was obviously worked up. She was not wearing anything to indentify herself vfrom anyone else in the group. 90% of the dogs there were not in need of her service.....I felt isolated and embarrassed by her neglect and at having her yell at me from 20 feet away.....instead of coming to my aide.

Our dog Winnie was a shy and anxious but very friendly and silly puppy, and after a few bad experiences with dogs at the park, he had become quite leash reactive and was developing worse and worse behaviour around the house, on walks, and with other dogs. After trying many things ourselves with no success, we reached out to Mia in the spring of 2020 as things seemed to be getting worse despite our best efforts and we were very frustrated and sad for Winnie’s reduced quality of life. Once we met and talked with Mia, we made the decision to enroll Winnie in her board and train program, and we cannot stress how much of a positive difference this has made for him and us in the nine months since. From the fundamentals she taught Winnie (our boy who had never been able to relax, came back to us and was able to settle for periods of time instead of pacing the house - a miracle for us!) to the lessons we received on how to be better trainers ourselves, the whole experience was more than we could have hoped for. The training she did with Winnie now enables us to communicate with him in a language he understands, and despite being much more calm he still has his silly, sweet personality that we love. We know that without Winnie’s time in the board and train program, we would still be struggling to handle behaviours we thought would never get better and are so thankful we got Mia’s help when we did. It is not an exaggeration to say it has changed our lives.Thank you Mia and your team for all that you have done!
