Jasper Home Building Center,During a June 2023 visit to the Jasper Nation Park, our rental car got some paint spray on the side of the car from a road crew painting lines on the Icefield Parkway. Fearing that the rental company would charge us for the paint removal damage, we were looking for something that would take the paint spray off, without damaging the car. A very nice and knowledgeable lady asked us what we were looking for and recommended a “Blue” stain remover cleaner that she thought would work. She said that several people had asked for the same thing, but no one came back to let her know if it worked. We are glad to say that the cleaner worked great to remove the paint spray and not damage the car paint. I went in today because I needed to tighten 4 screws on my kayak. An employee helped me find the tools I needed and let me borrow them to fix my kayak, without purchase. A rude manager or disgruntled co-worker proceeded to reprimand this employee right in front of me quoting, “that’s how we make a living” and how they shouldn’t do that and continued their tirade, as I was leaving the store. To elaborate, it would’ve cost me over $50.00 to buy all the tools I needed for this one job, I would NEVER have to do again. I have been shopping at this location for about 7 years and I really appreciate this employee helping me out. I will be back at this store spending more money in the future and had it been for the manager or rude co-worker who reprimanded the nice employee who helped me out, I would’ve never gone back. So I hope she sees this review and I hope this store keeps giving great customer service to the people who sometimes need a break. Thanks for helping me out, I’m sorry you got yelled at. Andrew.

I love this place; just started returning to Jasper after Covid- have been holidaying there all my life... this great store moved across the tracks from downtown several years ago but it’s worth the extra time to go there. In 39 degree weather they had swimming gear; also bandages, water guns, a well priced nerf gun my son loved and spent his vacation money on, camping gear, candles, kitchen gear, sun hats... plus flooring and paint for residents of Jasper. In five days we were there three times! Superb!Thanks so much to the happy and humorous staff,Debbie

Prices were reasonable and their selection was adequate for remote location. The staff were quite friendly and parking was great. Going through you should probably stop here if you require hardware and other supplies.

Very helpful, friendly staff. It's Jasper, they won't have everything but can get it. We're up from Edmonton working here so brought as much as we could haul but will be able to get the rest there.
