Experience from 2022 - Not a great experience, unfortunately not just once. Booked a tattoo appointment with Sky over a month in advance. Came from out of town over 5 hours each way and found out she was unable to do our tattoo’s less than 12 hours prior to our tattoo. Rescheduled for a week later, and drove down again. We show up early with other artists telling us she wasn’t there and that they hadn’t heard from her. After 45 minutes after our appointment was scheduled, between us and another artist (who was taken away from his client) we got ahold of her. Glad she was able to give us our deposits back, but felt forgotten especially since I drove twice for the tattoo and she mentioned not putting the appointment into her schedule the second time. Although she and other artists there are very talented, there was a lack of trying to make things right at the shop and other artists didn’t seem to want additional business by doing our tattoos on the day of or at a later date. We hoped for better from a shop that is supposed to have a great reputation. Won’t recommend going here sadly.

Always a great experience coming here! The artists are all talented, friendly and inviting. I haven't been to another shop because I know what to expect when I go to 3 Kings!

Great tattoo shop with a relaxing yet fun vibe. All the artist here are amazing and great to interact with. Very comfortable atmosphere whether your going for your first tattoo or the your fiftieth. I highly recommend this shop for truly amazing artists that make you feel comfortable and are easy to talk to without the big ego. The style of each artists also sets this place apart. It is amazing to see so many different and truly stunning pieces come out of one shop.I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a unique piece by an amazing artist in a high vibing, fun and comfortable atmosphere.

This is an amazing shop with incredibly talented people. I've referred many people here originally but it appears that this place has taken on an unfortunate dynamic.When clients leave the shop/step out I've heard artists talk Ill of them behind their backs on more than one occasion, this is fine as a shop dynamic but between each other and not with other clients around...as I've had a few of my friends mention they feel uncomfortable returning as they don't know what's being said when they are out of the room.This is a shame as this place is truly a wicked collection of very talented people...I hope whatever happened here changes soon and you can get back to the place I know and appreciate.

I've been coming here to get my work done by Jesse for quite some time now. 3 Kings is a super clean, chill environment, and holds some of the most talented artists in Calgary. I always have a blast coming here, as the atmosphere is very welcoming. Highly recommended!

Amber is a really friendly and skilled barber. I’ll continue seeing her for my cuts from now on because she does an AWESOME job. She’s super talented, non-judgemental, and a kind human!

I went yesterday for a tattoo with Spencer, he was easy to get along with and the work was amazing and we got to laugh a lot which I haven't found with any of my other artist. Not only was he personable but did an unbelievable job on my piece. I can't wait to get another tattoo from him. Plus the whole crew who works there is super friendly and welcoming !

A great collective of talented tattoo artists in Calgary. I have been coming here for awhile now to see one specific artist, but I am always greeted kindly by the other artists, they stop in to check on the work being done, visit and chat with you, etc. A fun, positive environment to spend a day getting tattooed. Don't hesitate to check out one of the artists here as all styles are represented by professional, creative artists.

This place is unreal, I found Shaun by asking a stranger where they got their amazing tattoo done, then I went and got Shaun to do a Joker, which has lead me to a loyal relationship with 3 Kings. I get my hair cut and my children's hair cut by Amber, she is amazing and detail orientated while being able to do work with her client. Making sure that you are completely satisfied with the cut she has given you. She is also wonderful at following up with you.I have now gotten my second tattoo from Shaun and it is even more insane than the original. I don't have enough words to describe his skills.I recommend 3 Kings, when someone mentions needing a hair cut or tattoo.It is a must experience place, nothing else like it.
