This plumbing company was hired to change a hot water tank in a rental home I own. I was quoted 1 man @ 85/hr but one man and a child showed up. I was billed for 6 hours of labor instead of the 1 hour I was quoted for with no phone call to approve the extra labour cost. I was also charged an eco fee to remove the old tank which is currently still sitting in the renters basement. Then the bill I was sent isn’t due until June 21st if 2018....but as of May 28th 2018 if I don’t pay the owner is threatening to illegally enter the rental property to reverse the work done....and she threatened this via text message so yes I have proof. Now I am in a position where my renters are terrified of a break and enter, I have to pay another company to go remove the old hot water tank on site and still have no luck disputing the charges of the bill that I never got to approve. This is not fair business practices. A mechanic that finds more work to be done or require more time must have authorization from the customer to approve the costs prior to the work being completed. Not according to this company! So if you want to be taken advantage of and then told by the owner how genuine and fair their business practices are I encourage you to hire them!
