Laval-Ouest dog park
This is our regular spot. Most owners are attentive to what their dogs do and will step in if a situation deteriorates. BTW, there's a separate fenced off section if your dog needs it.Two negatives: it's all gravel and during hot summer days, it's too hot because there's no shade at all. Also there's some poo left over once in a while. Usually you'll find someone left a few empty bags tied to the fence if you forgot yours.Sometimes small children come to the park. Please people, this is a dog park and dogs will react to oddly moving children. Have them play in the park next to the dog park. Dog owners do not want their pets to hurt anyone.

Nice, fenced, dog park. Plenty of room for the dogs to run. Right next to a skatepark, a forest with trails and a soccer field.

My dog loves to come here and play with all his friends. Is big to run and chase like dogs love to do. There's even a fountain for your dog to drink from. After you can go for à beautiful walk in the nature paths which are so close

This would be a nice place to bring your dog if people would respect that there is closed section for small dogs. If your dog is aggressive and isn’t socialized then don’t bring it to a park with other people and dogs and expect to have a whole section to yourself. It’s common sense. Everybody wants to enjoy the park.

Laval-Ouest dog park
Our second visit to this dog park. Our puppy had a great time both times. The people are nice and attentive to their dogs. The last park we tried was just a social hour for the folks there. Their dogs were not supervised and would quickly get rough with the smaller dogs. The only issue was the waste still left on the ground. Some people are less responsible than most unfortunately.

Very good mid sized off leash fenced in gravel surfaced dog park.. Small puppy enclsure as well. Best to visit before 3pm or after 7pm to avoid problematic dogs with unattentive owners.

I liked that there was a section for small dogs. There is no grass though, it's all gravel. And there is no shaded area. There is a water fountain just outside the park, near the parking lot.
