Jing Ying Martial Arts

My kids have been with Jing Ying for the past 2.5 years and they love every moment of it! They've competed in multiple tournaments across Alberta and they get treated like Family there.There is clear communication between the instructors & parents so we are always on the same page.They offer Wing Chun & Kickboxing too and I highly recommend Jing Ying Martial Arts to anyone who's looking to register their kids into a sport!

My daughter has trained at Jing Ying for about 6 years now and she absolutely loves it. I can tell she looks forward to every class and is always excited to be there. At Jing Ying, they teach students discipline and respect at it truly shows in our everyday life! I am grateful that my daughter has something that she can stay active doing, be proud of what she's doing, and be happy doing it all at the same time.

Best place to learn Martial Arts. The Jing Ying Club accepted us right from the start, we feel as though we are part of a great community and family environment. The Instructors are simply the best, encouraging growth and success, through training in classes. While offering Personal Classes with a flexible schedule. Our daughter started training with Jing Ying in September of 2018, with the positive encouragement of all the instructors and being able to have Personal's with Sifu Derek, she has surpassed her expectations, and has made many new lifelong friends along the way.

I've been going to Jing Ying for about three and a half years now and they've truly become my family. All the instructors are great teachers who are passionate about what they do, and it really shows in their teaching. Being a part of the team has provided me so many opportunities to learn and connect with the culture behind martial arts and lion dance. I've competed with Jing Ying countless times all over Alberta and even in China.The friendships I've made and experiences I've had with them are ones I will never forget.

I have been training at Jing Ying for about 8 months now, and everything has been the best. Not only has the instructors and students been amazing role models to look up to, Jing Ying has quickly became my second family. Since I started martial arts after my back surgery, my posture has gotten better with the help of my understanding instructors. Learning martial arts has helped me with my confidence as well, and gave me the courage to talk to new people! Coming here is always exciting. It's a great place to have fun and learn!

Jing Ying is an amazing, positive, supportive environment for anyone of any physical level and age. Their Instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, talented in their field and are role models to my kids. They teach with a firm and caring hand. Most importantly it is a family like environment where our kids could be active in, learn to be respectful, gain confidence, while being disciplined. We found all of that and more at Jing Ying. I have been training here for about five years now and I have to say, Jing Ying isn't like my second family, it is my second family. Everyday, the instructors work hard to ensure that the club is clean and tidy for the students to come back and train the next day. Each time I attend class, the instructors are also sure to make each and every class fun and practical while teaching us discipline at the same time. Not only is Jing Ying a great place to learn martial arts, it's also a great place to meet great people. As a club, we all go out to different tournaments to compete and improve. Not only is this fun, but it helps every student to learn and improve drastically. I can't wait to attend my next class and do what I enjoy doing the most!

Jing Ying is an amazing place for kids to learn martial arts ! The instructors are incredibly positive, knowledgeable and supportive to all the kids. It’s a very welcoming environment. During covid they have been extremely thorough with cleaning and sanitizing . My kids are super happy every time they get to go to their classes. A highly recommend them to anyone looking for martial arts for their kids or even themselves !

I have an 8-year old boy and 11-year old girl attending Jing Ying now for 8 months. In that time, both of my kids have shown so much growth, have graduated from beginner level and are using metal nunchucks. The teachers are amazing, experienced, and have made sure to provide a safe space for my kids to attend martial arts lessons during Covid. My daughter especially has become more confident, she was very shy and timid prior to starting at Jing Ying and now she has a higher self-esteem and confidence in herself! We love it here!
