Dollarama

Cheap stuff, same quality as Walmart only cheaper which is great. Staff is usually friendly but there is a downfall with having 6 or so cash registers but only having 1 cash open. I've seen lines of more than 15 people where they will then only call 1 other cashier. Hire. More. People.

Well organized and completely clean and stocked full for opening everyday… edit to add a year later… poor management, will never work there again.

this is a good dollerama with a good collection of stuff and a few things that aren't in other doller stores and a bunch very helpful and funny people working there.they asked if I needed help but also volunteered to help a fellow coworker at the cash register as I had alot of items and its a small counter,id like to have coworkers like them...she asked if i had a big weekend coming up cause i bought 60 glow necklaces and sticks for my god sons glow party so the doller store got jokes too.plus they were nice to my mom,I brought her out shopping and to pick up confirmation clothes for my godson,we got the clothes another place but she loves the doller store so there was no debate where we were headed,I secretly love the doller store not because it's cheap but because I am.also there is I believe a pets mart next to it that always has a great selection and friendly people...u got 2 reviews for 1 there people see how much I care about u,always looking out for u....u probably never read all this anyway but the ones that suffered thru it I got nothing but love for y'all.

Employees at the cash were friendly and courteous. I swear these stores attract people with no respect for directional arrows placed on the floor. Even when told they were going the wrong way, just shook their head and said don't care (this was a woman in her 50's at least). Oh well, takes all kinds.

It's a dollar store, what do you expect?For real though, it's always fun to pop in. They have some cool stuff The store's pretty clean, although it can be a bit disorganized. Parents here tend to let their children roam around, so there's pretty much always something opened or broken in the toy aisle.

Find this store at times frustrating. My last 3 visits just a couple of days prior to Christmas and during Christmas there was no one checking customers out. Only self checkout available. Twice there were lineups in excess of 20 ... wasn't just me frustrated!!!

Good selection of merchandise. However, it seems to be under staffed and the line ups can get long. Also the aisles are frequently blocked off with boxes of unopened stock

They now have self serve checkouts which, for some of us is a great thing, for others not so great. The thing is you're not getting a choice a lot of the time unless you specifically request a cashier. The store selection has improved some but staff wise there still doesn't seem to be anybody there to help
