The Bao Place
My favourite place to grab baos. My favourites are the pork deluxe and BBQ pork delight. Prices range from 4.25-2.75. We live in Ontario and when in town we always stop by to buy a couple of dozen to take home and freeze so we can enjoy them until our next trip out west. Great location right across from Metrotown. Meter parking right out front

Tried beef, chicken and pork. Beef was better than others but very doughy with a very little portion of beef in the middle. Most of it is basically dough!

The pork deluxe was so good, I ate two in one seating! The favourites sell out fast, but you can place your order a day ahead and pick it up the next day.

I got the Veggie Divine Bao Bun 包子. Extremely delicious, fresh, warm and flavorful! The filling is a good portion and they seem to use a nice aromatic type of spice with the Veggie filling. I like how they do cater for veggies with both savory and sweet options. No preservatives, MSG or artificial ingredients.A great local and home-cooking style joint in the heart of metrotown and adjacent from the mall to grab a quick snack, breakfast or dessert. The lady working there is super kind and friendly.Support local business!

Came here for their Famous Big Bao, but fell in love with their Malaysian Coffee too. Also bought their Pork Bun for my Fiancé and it was the best Pork Bun he ever ate (and we’ve tried a lot for many places in Vancouver)

Must try. Literally the yummiest buns I have ever eaten. The vegetarian one is by far the best vegetarian bao I’ve had in a while. The taro baos were tasty but just a little too dry for my liking.

The Bao Place is an absolute delight! They've got all sorts of flavors/fillings here, even some creative ones that you might not see in other places. Everything is priced very reasonably and I can confidently say after tasting nearly the entire menu that there's not a bad bao to be found here. For me, this is the best bao place in the area by far.
