All of us ordered the Katsu Set /pork loin, chicken and fish for different sauce (Japanese sauce, Mushroom Cream sauce, Brown sauce and Red sauce). Of all the different sauces we had, the Brown sauce tastes the best and the Katsu fish was also the best as compared with chicken and pork loin. The pork loin was chewy and the portion of rice is not enough to go with the sauce.Also we would prefer to have the sauce on the side rather than on the cutlets as it made them soggy pretty fast except the one with Japanese sauce which you would dip in. Service was good.

Amazing service and food! We ordered the chicken karrage for appetizer, but it took a while to come out. I double checked with the server to see if it was coming out and it was apparently sent to the wrong table. They later sent us free cans of pop to make up for the mistake and also gave us a free dish of takoyaki. We were not expecting any complimentary items, but were pleasantly surprised. We left the restaurant full and with a big tip. Highly recommended!

Sometimes you don't want to go somewhere that has endless confusing options, you just want a place that knows what it's making, and how to do it well.COTOLET knows exactly what they're making, and they do it damn well. Simple yet elegant, with rustic yet complex flavours, this was a wonderful treat to stumble upon, and I would definitely want to stumble upon it again.

Food is delicious and well priced. The atmosphere is very chill and they play nice music. On a Saturday night most of the tables were filled, but the servers can barely keep up with servicing the tables. There was a notice of ‘no more unlimited rice’, so it’s not the same anymore.

I’ve always heard good things about this place so I had to try it out.They were welcoming and fast to show us our seats from the get go and our food came out in timely fashion.Food was delicious, and the portions were fair. Their cheese bricks can be a bit tricky to consume, but definitely worth every bite!Would highly recommend.

This was the second time we visited and had lunch here. The first time was even better than this time in terms of food and service but this time was still good.This time we ordered the yuzu miso fish and the brown glaze pork cutlet. It came extremely fast and was really really crispy. I didn't like the sauce that I chose this time so much but it wasn't bad or anything, just that the yuzu flavour isn't the Japanese-type yuzu flavour that I usually have, rather more like a mod of a sweet and limey tangy sauce. The last time I ordered the red glaze and I loved it so much, it was a mix of spicy, creamy goodness. We also ordered one of the pastas last time and it was really good, highly recommend. Will be going regularly!

An absolute ⭐ value/restaurant in richmondhill. The pasta is fantastic, has a great atmosphere with great service. The cutlet pork is good and comparable to other restaurants. Location has good parking, clean washrooms and stunning sitting area. Would love to come back and try other things on the menu. Dt food, uptown location!

I've been to this restaurant twice now and each time was a pleasant experience. There are varieties of katsus to choose from with different sauces. I enjoyed the yuzu sauce the most because it was light and refreshing. I also had the beef bulgogi cream pasta which was super delicious. It was creamy and flavourful. You can also choose your spice level depending on your preference.
